A quiet basic camp which is what we like. Clean, well kept and very friendly.
Pitches are level and well kept.
Obviously if you like luxury and do not have a toilet and shower then it is not for you.
The pub a short walk away does excellent food .

Excellent could not find anything wrong at all. Jack and his daughter are excellent hosts and the place has the most amazing views. Five stars. Highly recommend you visit. I will definitely be going back

Jack was very friendly and welcoming. Very kind of him to give us some potatoes and onions. We had a lovely stay, very nice and peaceful with lovely views of the countryside. Site was very quiet. We were able to pipe the grey waste to the boundary wall. Fresh eggs for purchase were delicious. Thank you Jack!

Beautiful site on a working farm. Surrounded by open views of the countryside. There is a good choice of pubs and farm shops close by. Plus Buxton and Bakewell are just short car journeys away. The owner is wonderful, very happy to help with anything and lovely to talk to. Good sized hard standing pitches, with water etc close to you. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Tranquil, beautiful and yes farm smells, but isn’t that the point??? Surrounded by piggies and Chook Chooks that supplied our morning breakfast, and absolutely delicious they were too! A spacious plot with minimal pitches made this site ultra special and the walks were wonderful. Only 2 mile, mostly off road into Monyash with the Bull pub and the start of many great circular/ out and back walks. Jack was really friendly and chatted to Mr B about the piggies and checked in on us to make sure everything was OK. Highly recommend this site and very good value too!!!

Lovely quiet site, very friendly owner, came to speak to us within half an hour of getting set up to give us an information sheet of the area and remind us about using eco toilet chemicals (in the info on pitchup but easy to miss). Fresh eggs on sale on the drive were lovely. A 15m or so drive to Bakewell and the Monsal Trail, we found this a really good base for a 5 day trip.

Very friendly and accommodating host. Beautiful spot with great views. Just a few pitches with plenty of room which were well maintained. Completely relaxing experience.
