Very friendly and had time to talk to you. Informed how to get to cycle track. Pitches nice size. Lovely area beautiful views. Fresh eggs daily a nice treat and when bought supports grandson with his biking journey

Nothing but would be nice as a single motorhome traveller to have a discount off the daily charge.

Pitches were large and well gravelled. Slightly sloped so added a couple of blocks on one rear wheel. Easy access from the road. Very quiet and dark at night. Electric hook up with 16 amps and water, septic tank point for waste. We purchased a couple of the aqua Kem sachets from the farm for our toilet system. No shower or toilet block. Good internet signal. Beautiful countryside and a steady 25-30 min walk across the signed footpath to The Royal Oak pub for dinner. Pub extremely friendly and allows dogs too. Food was fabulous. Walked back to site with head torches. Jack, the farmer was so nice and stopped to chat from his tractor. Will be returning

Super friendly chap called before we got there, then greeted us once we set up. Gave us directions to the local pub, 1 mile away through beautiful fields.

Ground was well maintained with drinking water and electric.
View was absolutely stunning, even though we stayed when foggy.
Our two doggies loved it, we were on Pitch 1 so had a private walled area so they could roam on long leads and not be in anyone’s way. Small site so nice and quiet. Lovely to be in a working farm. Cows, chickens and geese greeted us in the morning.

Easy access to amazing walks. Will definitely be returning.

Everything! There was nothing to dislike at all. The views were beautiful and being so close to other areas its in easy reach for all. Bakewell is beautiful. The site owner is wonderful and so helpful. The Royal Oak for food is lovely and is only a 30 min walk away or literally a 1-2 minute drive with a lovely warm welcome and lovely food. Highly recommend this site to anyone and we will be back!!

Nothing to dislike at all, just be wary of the pitches being very un-even so you will need your levellers.

Jack was very accommodating, anything we needed was easily accessible. Pitch was super clean. Very relaxing stay. Would highly recommend.
