Lovely well kept camp site

Would be perfect if there was a field to walk the dogs

Location for event at Blenham palace and Didly squat farm. Cauldron cafe on site very nice and quirky.

lots of pitches crammed in so not much room. Toilets need tlc and more regular cleaning for number of people on the site. Nowhere near enough places to wash dishes and places there are also need a lot of tlc and smell bad!

Well kept, clean toilets and showers, also had a family shower which I could use with my infant.

Large campsite. Overcrowded with not much space between pitches. Huge group bookings are allowed. Noise until late at night (past 12am). Some pitches have one of the few water supplies so people trampling over at all hours to get water. Had overbooked so tried to put us in a parking space! Dirty and unclean toilets and shower areas that had run out of toilet roll

Really good pitching field, easiest ground I have ever put the tent pegs into.

Lively camp site, perfect for children as there is a decent little playground so lots of other kids around… no stress for parents.

Guy on reception was super helpful when I realised my inflatable mattress need mains power, he came all the way up to show us the nearest plug socket. Toilets and showers perfectly fine.

Bar on site and food served for those who don’t want to cook.

Little bit in the middle of nowhere but you’ve probably gone by car to get there and you’re within driving distance of lots of wholesome Cotswolds sights.

Nearby walks/runs partly on the main road which is a little dangerous.

Close to public footpaths.

Lack of and size of showers.
Lack of rubbish disposal.
Unisex toilets.
We paid for two pitches but were put on one slightly bigger one which equated one and a half so felt ripped off money wise.
No dog poo bins and no where to let dogs off a lead.
The chip van didn’t turn up on Saturday and despite the man in the cafe saying they had “loads of pizza” when we asked earlier in the evening we got there and were told they’d sold out and we should have pre-ordered.
Noise rules were not followed by neighbours, loud music playing until late.

Lovely site, the fields were divided by high hedgerows and woodlands which gave it a private, cosy feel

Poor and inadequate toilet and showering facilities. Definitely need a long electric hook-up.

We had a brilliant stay. The pitches was lovely and clean. Toilets/showers were lovely and clean. We had a love singers on in the bar on Saturday night which served lovely food. Brilliant park in the woods were my kids were kids for a whole weekend! (No tech!) if we are ever back that way we would stay there again!

Only downside was, the shower was like the ones you get in a swimming baths were you have to keep pushing the button for the water 😂 other than that fabulous site!
