Clean place and warm welcome. Pitches was quite big

Location, helpfulness of staff

Pitches too close together. Coming back from a day out to find a family half way across our pitch and aggressively saying we were in the wrong because staff had messed up.

Nice quiet, picturesque site with a nice wooden play area for the kids

Could have had a few more toilets and showers. The main ones are great but the extra more temporary feeling blocks could be better.

Lovely quite site. The guy managing it was wonderful if not a bit run off his feet..

Well maintained grassy site good for tent. Friendly staff. Wcs & showers adequate. Able to camp next to friends with caravan. Good area for cycling.

Maybe a second washing-up basin would have been good

Lampshades in Meadow barn such shame as simple thing can make place feel so different .
Tht £7 for about 6 logs for fire pit excessive . £5 to hire put £7 for logs and £3 for firefighters and no option to buy kindling not great . I can light fires but if not bought pack of firefighters with size of logs provided impossible to light a fire .
Fresh milk in fridge to buy wed of v much been appreciated .
My son stayed in pod for 4 with we . Traveling with 8 and 6 year old sofa bed was so small both boys cd not sleep on it

The site is lovely, good facilities including fridge, freezer, toasters, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. Fish and chip van on Saturday night and you can hire bikes.

Showers were warm, clean site

Seemingly no curfew, loud site. Not enough washing up facilities

Peaceful, quite spacious and not overly crowded. Well equipped. Generally clean especially the loos, and well kept (amused by your man the warden on his mower 🙂), especially considering past rain.

Soft ground for pegs (maybe different in a dry summer), sheltered pitch options with big hedges to slow the wind.

Very friendly, easy going and helpful staff, both at check in and at other times.

We were in a tent without electric hook up, but plenty of other options including pods, huts and even Romany caravans!

Not much. Logs were a bit pricey. Shower could run a bit longer before needing to restart. The place wasn't full so we could have been more spaced out than allocated, though when we asked to move there was no hassle.

Location and having good-sized allocated pitches. The Saturday fish and chip takeaway was lovely! The playground was great.

Toilet/shower facilities were very basic and small, which made it difficult to help children shower/ use the toilet.
