On the surface this has the makings of being a great place. However with signal really bad, checking in through phoning a number was awqward. The shop was closed all the time, but advised to phone a number but again i had no signal at all and felt like it would be an inconvenience if i called as i didnt see anyone at all on check in. The bar was a nice touch but after asking a lady for advise on how to check in, i wasnt even sure if she worked there - i assumed she did as she had a laptop but had a 'phone the number' as a response- it felt very unwelcoming. They had live music on the Saturday night and thought that was a cool touch but then didnt want to go over as it didnt feel very welcoming when i had gone in earlier, so just stayed out of the way. The toilets had no toilet roll, again looking at the confirmation it did say on there but very easy to miss, so ended up travelling down the road to a shop. I wouldn't go back on the back of all of this. Just needs a personal touch, someone to welcome you when you get there would have made a big difference.

The site well layed out friendly and helpful warden / host. Facility's clean and tidy .

- Shower and toilet facilities aren’t great. The electric shower hose leaks so was a dribble, most of the toilets out of order
- I can see the site would be very cramped if it got busy

The views were beautiful, very lovely location.

Is was a very good place to stay out here was nice and was a park for the kids to play in and it is dog friendly too

Location, facilities and maintenance of the camp site.

Unfortunately there was no curfew at night or at least not managed. A large group unfortunately spoilt the weekend away with playing loud music, talking / shouting into the early hours.

Great campsite with everything you need, including live music at the cafe! Facilities were clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Local town only a short walk down the road with a train station giving a easy trip to Oxford etc
