Superb site, clean, relaxing, with excellent facilities, lovely pool area and friendly welcoming owners. Highly recommend this site in a beautiful location.

Peaceful, friendly welcome. Plenty of hot water in the showers.

Location near to many château of the Loire and village for essentials.
Well kept pitches with water and 16A electricity hookups close by.

Shower cleanliness and hot water availability were hit and miss.
We felt like intruders on the campsite. Other guests stored their vans on the site and visited regularly, hence appearing as "family", for example the site owners holding a barbecue where everyone but ourselves were invited.
Very expensive electricity.

Extremely peaceful location in the heart of the Loire Valley. Close to a nice local village with a small market and the Royal City of Loche, with its lovely old buildings. Centrally located and the Loire River is an easy drive along with a plentiful amount of chateau's.

The owners gave us a very warm welcome and they were extremely helpful.

Lovely warm welcome. Perfect for our one night stopover on the way down to the south of France.

We had a wonderful time at Camping de la Touche. Fiona and her family were the perfect hosts and kept us informed and entertained during our stay.
We particularly appreciated her son, who showed us around the grounds and even joined us in some outdoor activities.
The communication ahead of our arrival was excellent, especially owing to the recent inclement weather and we were rewarded with warmth and sunshine.
The tent pitches were generous and dry enough for us to pitch. There is a range of standard, electrical hook up, a huge safari tent and hardstands (there were some campers there).
There is a huge space for washing up with lots of access to hot water, a freezer and showers. There is even wifi on the site.
The recommendation of the local market and vineyard's Easter opening event were fabulous, thank you!
