Friendly hosting on arrival and in the evening at the snack bar - with big TV showing sports. Large campsite area so good spaced out pitches. Clean facilities with plenty of hot water. Pool looked good although didn’t use it due to poor weather.

Limited menu in the snack bar (mostly English tastes like pizza, chips, burgers and fish & chips if pre-ordered). Isolated site with no local amenities unless you drive out. Pitches not segregated much (some trees and a few plants) - but good for the kids running around.

The peace and quiet of the place. Access to the pool. Fish and chips with a drink a surprise bonus on our stopover heading South.

Wonderful, the location was well laid out, supremely well maintained, very clean and tidy. We ate from the bar kitchen both nights, the food was perfect. The owners were available throughout our stay and running the bar and kitchen all evening.

Peaceful bucolic Excellent facilities. Family run. The owners Andrew and Fiona are great people - very friendly and helpful. Spacious site. Really chilled bar and pool area. Value for money stay.

Everything was of a high standard

There’s nothing we don’t like about this site, it is a lovely quiet site with large pitches and good clean facilities and Fiona and family made us more than welcome.

We stayed on the courtyard gravel as it was pouring with rain when we arrived. Lovely setting, easy check in, nice and clean toilet/shower facility. Well thought out design in the showers, with the curtain and folding seat available. We only stayed for one night but would recommend and use again.

We loved our warm welcome from Fiona, the tranquil setting and all the birds hopping around. We were lucky to have some glorious weather too.

Friendly reception and helpful, pitch was clean and hook up for electric and water directly on pitch. Great for our two dogs to be able to run around and get some much needed exercise after a long journey.
