As a small park, we do aim to create a quiet and well-maintained environment, though we understand that pitch spacing can feel different depending on personal preference and previous touring experiences. We appreciate your comments regarding the shower facilities — the timed push-button system is designed to support water conservation, but we’re sorry to hear that you found the pressure and duration inadequate. We will certainly review this feedback.

Regarding pricing, our rates reflect the location, facilities, and seasonal demand, and are clearly outlined at the time of booking, including supplements such as for dogs. While we do not have a dedicated on-site dog walking field, there are public walking routes directly accessible from the park, which many guests enjoy.

We’re also sorry to hear that you were disturbed early in the morning. While we do have a mix of touring/seasonal guests, we expect all guests to be considerate of others, and concerns raised during a stay can often be addressed at the time by our team.

We’re pleased you enjoyed the surroundings, which is exactly what many of our guests visit the site for. However, we would like to clarify a few points for future readers.

The site is intentionally off-grid, we currently do not have Wi-Fi as advised on our website and mobile signal in the area is limited. Many guests choose the site specifically for this quiet, disconnected environment.

Most touring caravans and motorhomes typically carry 25m electric cables and longer water hoses as standard for UK campsites.

The fire tap you mention is in fact the designated water supply point for the pitch area and is safe and intended for guest use.

Regarding manoeuvring, a motor mover is recommended for some pitches due to their position, but it is not mandatory. Many guests access the pitches successfully without one.
