The river play opportunities

How many people were able to pitch on the Saturday night and the noise levels.
Problematic flushes and no drinking water for the price doesn’t seem right.

Lovely location, Beautiful to see all the nature and the river. The owner is really nice and understanding.

No shower facilities but good if you are having a short stay or have your own.

Freedom to camp anywhere. All on level ground. Stream was deep enough to plunge into. Don't expect to do any laps as less about swimming. An array of available barbecues of fires to borrow and the owners also sell wood. An extra that we were not expecting is the 3 par 9 hole golf course within walking distance, where I got to do a round with my 12 year old for £15, with clubs and balls thrown in. We're not golfers a d enjoyed it very much. We will come back again for the gold for sure.

Rustic no frills camping where common sence replaces a long list of rules.
just next to the River bank which is lovely.
Toilets run on rain water (no mains water on site).
We love it here and having discoverd the site a couple of years back are regular weekend visitors.

Great location away from built up areas, with walks to local village pubs. Dog friendly and having the river nearby is great for the kids to play in. Toilets are basic but kept clean and stocked.

Fortunately we were camped a little way from the big groups, but their music was still going late into the night, which was disappointing because we thought it would be a quiet site (more wild camping style) and quiet at night.

Facilities were clean, beautiful scenery, loved being able to wild swim here. Owners are so helpful and accommodating. Children loved the play equipment to

Lovely family friendly wild camping. Quite busy but convivial and friendly other users.
