Beautiful quiet site. No sounds but sheep, cows and birds. Stunning views. Total peace and quiet. Toilets very simple, in a shed, but spotless. Showers slightly further away. Excellent welcome pack sent via e mail. All facilities on your pitch. Pitches very spacious. No tents allowed.

A well maintained site in a very peaceful location with friendly, knowledgeable site owners.
The pitches are large and well spaced out.
They are quite level but do take a ramp or blow up leveling cushion to ensure you get the optimal stability.
Great designated dog friendly field and some lovely local walks for all abilities.
Dogs also have their own "pamper" hut which is a real bonus when you have a pooch who loves to find the muddiest areas whilst out.
Very clean toilets. We didn't visit the shower block so can't comment.
The Information area does exactly what it says on the label with the addition of books and DVD's to borrow.
The site is only about 2 miles from the village of Gargrave which has everything you need. The town of Skipton is a few miles further but is a great market town, with lots of local shops as well as high street stores and a large supermarket.

Nothing to dislike

This site is a hidden gem! Tucked away in the hills 15 mins from Skipton. It has breathtaking views and all the amenities and facilities you need. It’s dog friendly and caters for dogs - dog wash off station with drier, dog field. Shower facilities are great. There are two lots of toilets one near the showers and one near the pitches, which I thought was fantastic. You get a welcome pack via email which explains everything in detail about how to get to the site, the site itself, the local area etc. I was very impressed with the stay here, 10/10 would recommend.

I like the fact that we can just arrive & pick our pitch without any interference from the owners. It shows a trust with their customers.
Facilities are quirky, but absolutely pristine & clean. A thoroughly nice site with plenty of room on each pitch. Will be back next year, no mistake!

Quiet and countryside location

Toilets and showers

A beautiful tranquil site surrounded by countryside. The pitches are huge with very generous grass areas betwen them. Probably the largest we have ever encountered. Two large "village greens" in the centre of the two areas enhancing the spaciousness. Lovely hot showers a short walk to the farm. Clean toilets in garden sheds on the site itself. An extensive fenced dog walk adjacent to the site. Lovely walks from the site. The most comprehensive welcome pack ever prepared by the owners with usual site information, walking routes including guidance photos. Even guidance about the night sky. Visit the Masons Arms in Gargrave for delicious home cooked food and real ale. An excellent site which is well recommended.

The on site facilities are rudimentary but clean and perfectly acceptable. The road leading from Gargrave is fairly narrow in places and just needs a little care, especially with a caravan, but care is all that is needed to safely navigate the 2 miles to the well-signposted site. My remarks are not a criticisms but merely observations.

Peaceful location. Lots of useful information.

Would be lovely to have shower facilities in the main campsite area. Other than that, everything was lovely!

The setting and the solitude but easy access to Gargrave and Skipton.
