A aimé Nice and uncomplicated, picknick benches at every pitch. Great view from some pitches, secluded corners for other pitches.

N'a pas aimé No really flat pitches on the field - can be amended with wedges though, if you're travelling with a camper van.

N'a pas aimé We stayed during the second week of June with a dog and the amount of ticks was unreal. Every time the dog went outside to go for a walk she’d return covered in ticks, at least one each walk. She’s given medication to repel ticks and they still landed on her. We resorted to not allowing her near long grass and the ticks still persisted. What was supposed to be a five night holiday turned into a two night holiday after she kept being repetitively bitten by ticks (we removed approx 4 in the 2 nights we stayed). I’ve been camping for many many years and I’ve never experienced this volume of ticks before.
As a side note you can also hear the road despite reviews saying it’s peaceful and you can’t hear the road, it’s untrue there’s a fair amount of road noise.

The rest of your review seemed strange and unfair.
You were pre-warned that ticks are active in SW England in the pre-arrival email. Nobody else has mentioned ticks and everyone living locally has dogs as we do with no problems (I suggest you buy a better quality tick repellent). Anyway there's nothing else anyone can do.
With regard to road noise it's unusual to get wind from the road direction and also there's nothing we can do to change the direction.
PLEASE read all other reviews because this one is unfair.

A aimé Beautiful setting and great views. Peaceful , quiet and allowed space for yourself to relax and destress. Very clean and well stocked toilets and showers

A aimé It is a peaceful and well organised campsite super well situated near Charmouth and Lyme Regis beaches.
We particularly appreciated the very clean toilets and shower as well as the charging hut (a godsend for us non electric pitch hirers) with a fridge/freezer option. I have noticed few people left behind reading books so a mini reading library could also be a cute bonus to this well established and well looked after campsite. We will be back.

A aimé Beautiful setting, super peaceful. benches provided around the site which was great! facilities were tidy and clean and had everything you need. Location was also great and close to beaches. Loved our stay here!

A aimé Beautiful scenery, plenty of space with a picnic table.
A lovely atmosphere,we loved our week at Penn farm .
The toilets and showers are basic as advertised however they were cleaned
several times a day so we had no complaints .

A aimé Excellent 3 days camping at Penn farm. Plenty to do around and beautiful views from site. Great sized pitch, flat, with picnic table, had clean toilets and shower, and easy access to fridge freezer and charging point.
