A aimé We loved the quirkiness of camping between the orchard rows. The trees give your pitch separation and privacy and it’s so peaceful! Added bonus having a taproom just up from the pitches with a wonderful beer garden with lots of space in the sunshine

A aimé Lovely quiet place, with plenty of room, good facilities (i think they are also building more) ans their cider is very good! Lovely friendly team, and firepits are available for free too! You get to choose your own pitch and have a whole row to yourself, so even next door neighbours could pitch much further down their row, so everyone gets privacy.
Free WiFi at the shop and onto the garden with outdoor games and plenty of benches

N'a pas aimé The occasional apple falling on to the tent in the wind. But it's an orchard and it was windy so its to be expected!
Only negative is there is no toilet down at the wash up and shower at the bottom of the orchard. No big deal as there's 3 at the top.

A aimé The peaceful site, the spacious pitch amongst the apple trees in the Cider Orchard.
The bar, shop and pub style garden are very nice.
The individual fire pits which are provided to each pitch.

N'a pas aimé The lack of sufficient toilets and showers for the potential number of campers.
This is being addressed and should be improved by next year.
The access roads are not for the faint hearted. (Obvious not within anyone’s capability to change this). But bearing this in mind the shop would be more useful if it sold some basic commodities.
As it is a dog free site it is very annoying to find twice a day the camp owners two dogs are allowed to wander freely. They don’t bark, but they raid tents, steal food , raid bins and urinate on possessions, more than irritating.
Very important to keep tent closed at all times when not present.

A aimé really how we were in between the rows of trees and they being plenty of flexibly so you were able to have plenty of space between other campers. also really nice have the cider tasting room and live music on the Saturday night as well.

N'a pas aimé only down side was the lack of toilet/shower facilities, however they are currently in the process of building a extra shower/toilet block, so once this is done I don't really see any downsides about the place.

A aimé Stayed for a long weekend with my two adult boys. Unique camping experience amongst the trees in a cider apple orchard. Everything including cider production is run by family members. Each pitch is a row of trees all to yourself 10s of metres long. A small metal fire pit is provided for each pitch and you can buy wood and kindling to last about an evening for about £12 from the tasting room. You can bring your own wood too. A tour of the cider farm and production room is available on saturdays at 11 which is well worth it - wassail with a loud voice if you join! Organic cider produced on site is available to purchase draft and in bottles. Large area with picnic tables and inside tasting room can be used to while away the hours chatting or playing cards and trying the many differnt ciders available. Area is decorated with topiary and metal statues from another family business. Saturday night live music on site adds another dimension to the stay. Highly recommended site! No kids or dogs (this is a plus for me!). Wifi available in tasting room.

N'a pas aimé If you don't like narrow country lanes (plenty of passing places though) this isnt the site for you. Toilet and shower facilities are currently slightly limited (although absolutely fine) but a new shower block is being built. Once this is complete I would give 10 stars.

A aimé Family running campsite were great, and the cider was ace too!
