A aimé The campsite was spacious and had portaloos with disinfectant, an outdoor double sink with dish soap, and two showers.

Very friendly and welcoming owners.

N'a pas aimé Of the two showers, one was ice cold and the other super hot. Likely due to the amount of people using the showers at the time.

Apologies that one of our showers was cold, we hadn't spotted that one of our batteries (which triggers the gas ignition in the shower unit) had run out. This is now fixed and both showers are back up and running as normal.

A aimé Lovely location, nice showers, friendly staff.

A aimé Lovely camp site, not too far from a little pub, close drive to Kendal and Windermere, stunning views, lovely clean showers and toilets. Nice and basic but exactly what you need for camping!! So much space to choose from to put your tent up

A aimé Lovely campsite, facilities were good. The brothers that ran it were just so lovely, chatty and helpful. They brought round ice lollies on a very hot day, were wonderful and welcoming to the children and even came and helped jump start my parents car when it broke down the morning we were due to leave. Lovely spot to easily access Kendal and Windermere quickly. Lovely plumgarths farm shop and cafe nearby as well as Lovingly Artisan Bakery which is an absolute gem. The local pub, The Sun Inn was brilliant too. All in all a wonderful stay!

A aimé The site is peaceful and the owners were very welcoming, taking their time to come and chat to each tent. Basic but clean showers with plenty of hot water. Close distant to a couple of pubs and a short drive to larger towns if needed.

A aimé Hot showers, clean facilities and great location

A aimé The campsite consists of two adjoining fields. The fields are well maintained and the grass is plentiful and ground perfect for pitching tents. Surrounded by rolling hills and the sound of lambs and sheep. The farmers are very friendly and came to check everyone was ok and also an evening check, making sure the gate was closed which was reassuring. The site was peaceful and as a female solo camper I felt safe. Would camp here again. Showers wet hot! Campsite was spotless, no rubbish left anywhere outside of the bin area.

N'a pas aimé Portaloos are not a problem, but there are only 4. Might not be enough of both fields were full.

A aimé Shower block, quiet location, nice pub nearby (3 min drive), friendly owner, plenty of room on site

A aimé Great nature campsite. Plenty of sloping hills but this didn’t lead to any water pooling issues despite a significant storm! Good shower and clean portaloos. Staff on site were friendly too.

N'a pas aimé Steep sloped field and may be tricky to find a good pitch at busy times.
