Fabulous week away , great balance of things to do for the children along with the swimming pool which they loved , staff were great, I would recommend 100%

Location gives easy access to Tavistock and surrounding areas. Given a warm and friendly welcome. A clean site with pool and games room plus a small shop within the reception with essentials including fresh bread/pain au chocolat and croissants for breakfast when ordered. They also do a pig roast and cocktail bar which was a nice addition. Good amenities with showers etc plus microwave/freezer/washing machine and dryer and for the dog walkers a doggy shower, I also noticed an air line. Wifi is available free for 30 mins in the games room or via a subscription service which seemed to work well with a tiered pricing system. They really have thought of everything. We'd managed to forget to pack some cooking utensils and the staff were kind enough to borrow some from an empty/unused static caravan for us to use until we could get to the shops. A very relaxing and enjoyable visit.

I last stayed here 15 years ago it's got a bit bigger but the feel is still the same, a wonderful warm friendly site...Thanks we will be back..but won't leave it 15 years thus time 😁😁👍

Dog spa was great, and free! Particularly liked the oatmeal shampoo; dog walking field lovely; super swimming pool and therapy cabin; immaculate facilities, friendly staff and morning croissants were delicious.

Woodovis is a Lovely and clean well kept park. Decent well stocked shop that bakes fresh bread in the morning. The swimming pool and spa were clean and in good condition. The evening food venders that visit the site were very welcome. We would definitely visit again!

For us the site wifi was slow and wasn't very useful

The peaceful environment, the friendliness of the staff and the facilities on offer. The little shed of beers and hog roast were also wonderful

We were disappointed that the games room was a pay as you go set up.

We stayed at Woodovis for 9 days and it was a good base for our adventures around the area and further afield.
The site was beautiful. Very well kept, peaceful in the evenings and the staff very friendly.
The site puts on different activities for the kids in the early evenings and they also have a pop up kitchen.
The mini shop is well stocked for your essentials.
The swimming pool and hot tub were great. Spent plenty of time in there and wasn’t ever overly crowded.
Small play park for the smaller children. Our girls who are 6 and 10 would have liked swings, as the only ones there were baby swings.
Toilets and showers clean and tidy.
We would definitely recommend to friends.

If I was being really really picky the only things to mention would be -
Only baby swings in play park.
Would be nice to have a toilet/shower block in the lower Tamar View field.
Better WiFi access.
Pop up kitchen closed a bit early. Missed out on the one night we were going to get something as it was packing up by 7pm.
These little things wouldn’t stop us coming back though!

Beautiful location surrounded by countryside and woodland. Site is spotless, staff are friendly and welcoming.
Excellent facilities, shop was well stocked and prices were reasonable. Pool, jacuzzi and infrared therapy sauna was warm, clean and relaxing. Showers were nice and hot, bodywash provided was a nice touch. Peaceful at night. The perfect place for a short break to unwind. We will be back soon, thank you to all at Woodovis.

Pool would be nice opened an hour or two earlier. Not a dislike just some feedback
