Location - on the Kernov Way cycling route; beautiful lake for evening walk, nice pitches with hedges. Great toilet/shower facilities. Easy check-in, clear email.

Absolutely wonderful! Handy for the sports on the lake, soft beautifully mown grass which was more like a lawn and lots of space between you and your neighbours, even in the middle of August!

Couldn’t get the code to work for the toilets, but it was probably operator error.

Peaceful environment, perfect for family watersports, great cafe for breakfast and lunch, excellent pub at walking distance, overall great experience and highly recommended

Great location, reasonably priced with good facilities.

Very noisy family campers on pitches either side of us. They continued drinking/partying well past the quiet times and let their children run around our tent late into the night. Their dogs were left to roam loose without any supervision and they used our pitch as a toilet (both for no1’s and no2’s - absolutely foul). I appreciate this is down to the visitors not the site - but there was nobody from SW lakes present to ensure the quiet times were respected or raise issues with. We would have got more sleep pitching our tent besides the A30…

Really close to the lake. Clean facilities. Really close to the Golden Lion pub.

Some of the pitches are quite small if, like us, you have a campervan and awning.

Views wildlife

Not really suitable for a motorhome re the grass pitches and also the 5 mile journey into the site
