Great, quiet campsite, nice playground for children, short walk to the beach.
We'll be definitely visiting again.

We loved absolutely everything about this site! The location for us is perfect, only a short 12 min walk to beach, through beautiful woodland. The owner Allen and all the staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our pitch was large, easily accessible, flat with little hedges for privacy and to mark the boundaries. All pitches were flat that had hard standing, as were the grass pitches. We had a hard standing and grass fully serviced pitch, located as we had asked for near to the amenities. The amenities were very, very clean and well maintained, there was a small laundry, pot washing facility, family room then ladies and gents showers/toilets. Around the back of the block was the area to empty and wash the caravan cassettes.
The total tranquility of the site is wonderful, all that can be heard is the sounds from the sea and birds.
There are children’s play areas which are well maintained from what I saw, the children certainly seemed to enjoy the areas, it was so lovely to hear children actually playing nowadays. But not obtrusively.
The park is a good size, not too big nor too small.
There’s a dog walking area, with poo bin.
The camping areas are flat and situated within an area with some mature trees, I’m sure it would give privacy as there were also privacy/boundary hedges. There were electric points around the camping area.
There is a walk by the sides of the fields over to kuggar, again only about 10-12 mins to the small friendly local pub. There’s a Thai takeaway van there, Thursday to Saturday I think.
It’s about a 15 min drive to Helston for the supermarkets/pubs/restaurants etc . Which was perfect for us.
We fell in love with this site, and will be back many, many times.

Everything about Silver Sands was excellent - from the cleanliness of the shower / toilet block through to the grounds appearance. We can reccomend this site to anyone else as a great place to stay and only 10 minutes from the nearest beach by foot.

We stayed out of season. The camp is clean tidy and quiet with everything needed to hand for a nice stay.
Motorhome pitches were of a good size showers were great all nice and clean.

Site was spotlessly clean, and very well kept.
Allen was very friendly + helpful.

The hot water could have done with being hotter in dishwashing room. We didn't like to run it any longer, needs to be as hot as the water in the shower block, which was fine.

Spacious pitches with hedges. Was quiet when we visited, but looked like would provide a nice bit of privacy.
Facilities bit dated, but were clean and functional.
Free WiFi which we had no problem with.
Quiet area and not far from beach.

Charged £4 a night for a dog!!! Information says per stay but we're charged per night.

Really lovely place. Friendly staff, superb pitches, great facilities and location. Loved staying there, thank you for the upgrade.

Well kept site, lovely large pitch with hedge dividers. Close to beach. Clean toilet, shower block.
