The site ticks every box for us, it’s a beautiful oasis of peace and quiet. Where children can play on traditional a traditional play area set in the centre of pitches, on swings, climbing frame etc. there’s also a play area and sandpit for the younger ones. We prefer a hard standing full service pitch, and the pitch we were on was just perfect. So roomy and near the loo’s, which was just ideal for us! There are many pitches to choose from, with or without electricity, and on grass or handstand if, under trees or no trees! There’s a place for everyone. Lots of pitches available for tents, and they take even the very large tents!
The toilet/laundry/pot wash/toilet cassette empty is all located in the same block in the centre of the site. It’s kept beautifully clean.
We love the Proximity to dog a friendly beach, it is literally just about 15 mins walk down through a woodland walk to the beach, it’s split into 2 the main sandier beach is dog friendly until 10 am and after 6pm during the main season, the other half is dog friendly all year round. There’s a cafe on the main beach, and also a surfing teaching school.
The management and staff are all super helpful and friendly, it feels like going to visit friends!
We have stayed here twice, and are booked in for a third visit. We both totally fell in love with the site more or less as soon as we visited the first time in may 2025.
It takes just a short 20mins drive to the supermarkets and Helston town.
There a great little bar just a 10 min walk across the field, and there’s a Thai food takeaway just a few yards from the bar.
