Large EHU pitches, with privacy hedges between. Excellent play areas for v young and teens, good free WiFi, quiet time from 9.30pm so easy to sleep with no rowdy groups, very family friendly and only an easy 10 minute walk to the gorgeous Kennack Sands beach through the woods.

Nothing to dislike apart from being asked to turn music off on the first night due to someone complaining we was playing music (not even loud) at 9:45 but that was the only downside to our 6 night stay here.

Well maintained, excellent facilities. Well spaced camping plots. Lovely park that felt safe for children to be independent with their play.

Everything about this location was managed at the highest level. Silver Sands Holiday Park is very quiet and pleasant, with meticulously kept grounds and thoughtfully organized spaces. The staff was consistently friendly and welcoming. One of the highlights is the relaxing walk to the lovely beach through a beautiful forest park. This is truly a place where all your problems seem to fade away.

Everything was perfect

The site ticks every box for us, it’s a beautiful oasis of peace and quiet. Where children can play on traditional a traditional play area set in the centre of pitches, on swings, climbing frame etc. there’s also a play area and sandpit for the younger ones.
We prefer a hard standing full service pitch, and the pitch we were on was just perfect. So roomy and near the loo’s, which was just ideal for us!
There are many pitches to choose from, with or without electricity, and on grass or handstand if, under trees or no trees! There’s a place for everyone.
Lots of pitches available for tents, and they take even the very large tents!

The toilet/laundry/pot wash/toilet cassette empty is all located in the same block in the centre of the site. It’s kept beautifully clean.

We love the Proximity to dog a friendly beach, it is literally just about 15 mins walk down through a woodland walk to the beach, it’s split into 2 the main sandier beach is dog friendly until 10 am and after 6pm during the main season,the other half is dog friendly all year round. There’s a cafe on the main beach, and also a surfing teaching school.

The management and staff are all super helpful and friendly, it feels like going to visit friends!

We have stayed here twice, and are booked in for a third visit. We both totally fell in love with the site more or less as soon as we visited the first time in may 2025.

It takes just a short 20mins drive to the supermarkets and Helston town.

There a great little bar just a 10 min walk across the field, and there’s a Thai food takeaway just a few yards from the bar.

The site was peaceful and very well maintained.
Our pitch was level and the water, waste and electricity were near to the caravan.
The amenity block was spotless and the showers were powerful.
The WiFi was excellent and never buffered or dropped out.
We would definitely stay here again.

The lane leading to the site is a single track and fairly narrow. A little bit challenging the first time.
Be sure not to arrive before your arrival time or leave after your departure time as you may end up with a "Mexican standoff" in the lane.
These comments are not because we disliked anything, because we didn't, but rather for awareness.

Everything about this site is wonderful. It's is clean, beautifully maintained, quiet with great facilities - the perfect base. Allen and the team are so friendly and welcoming too.
