Lovely peaceful site, friendly host, lovely clean facilities.

Only dislike is there isn’t much within walking distance but that’s not the sites fault.

Pristine and very quiet adults only campsite. Spacious and reasonably private hard standing pitches some with water tap. Lovely owners who have worked very hard to create a beautiful place to pitch. Almost an oasis within an urban Welsh town. Fantastic hiking direct from the site into the mountains.

2pm check is rather late in the day for distant hikers like myself. The absence of a dog walk on site was a bit awkward for the obvious reasons.

Really lovely clean and tidy site. Pitches good size with gravel and grass. Lovely owner. Helpful and cheerful. Walk into town easy. A few shops, cafes and there is a train station and bus station. Lovely stay.

Very clean and tidy site, large level serviced pitches, very clean toilet block. Friendly and helpful owner.

Steep and narrow road to site but there were several vehicles with caravans that got there with no problems. No laundry facilities. Sadly the town Blaenau Ffestiniog is very rundown.

Extremely sharp left turn up a steep incline to the park. This was not advertised with the park description. Road surface extremely slippery when wet.

5 nights paid for but had to leave after 1 night due to bereavement and return home on the ferry. Spoke to owner. No offer of refund even though the park was two thirds empty.

No campers kitchen only a sink in the corridor between the toilets.

Toilets very damp due to the showers and wooden structure. Not fit for purpose.

Absolutely beautiful site. Very quiet and out of the way but that's exactly what we wanted. Would definitely recommend. Toilets and shower blocks are absolutely brilliant. Washing area great too. Everything clean and well looked after. Had a great nights sleep here and would definitely stay again if returning to the area. Not a huge amount within walking distance but we didn't mind for one night. No WiFi but that was the only downside. Kids not allowed which didn't bother us as it was just 2 adults and 1 dog.

Beautiful location with lovely views and open aspect. The shower block was very clean with seperate showers and toilets and communal washbasins. There is also a sink washing area with public notice board for taxi and local events. This was all close to our van which was good for us! We were greeted well at arrival and shown to our pitch and given site instruecitons. Everything was as it should be, we hooked up to electric and water and all went like clockwork.
The site is in a great location and Blennau Festiniog is charming little village.

Because of the terrible weather on the night we arrived we couldn't actually see the lovely views until the morning which is just one of those things unfortunately.
Also as there is no pub onsite we ventured into the local town, a 10 minute walk away but there wasn't much there in the way of restaurants or pubs. We found a takeaway that was all. We did find one wmc and the locals were very friendly. It was a very welcome bolthole from the rain. We had brought our own food and a bottle of wine and despite torrential rain we managed a simple BBQ under the awning. Its all part of the adventure, and would definitely recommend this site.
