Pub was lovely
Beer garden and play area was top class.
Showers warm and powerful

Cows on the field opposite the river we're fun to watch and couldn't smell anything bad.No me gustó: More shower and toilet facilities would be better.
The toilets were broken for the boys at times. Only 2 showers too with one of those being in disabled toilet. The drinking water tap was blocked by pallets and junk bits so wasn't ideal but still use able.

Facilities have everything you need. The views are serene and the price was perfect. Excellent arrival and departure times. The late arrival worked well for me and the 11am departure was lush. Loved it!

No me gustó: The food in the pub wasn’t as good as expected, poor quality for the money, following a complaint we were told we wouldn’t have to pay for the meal, however we discovered that we were charged once we checked our bank account. We also noticed a number of customers were being asked to leave, by bar staff, the reason was that there were families in the pub and the behaviour of some individuals was not in line with the family theme. We did not hear or notice any bad behaviour, very strange. The camp site was full to bursting, guy line to guy line, which was poor site safety management. Overall, an ok site but not one for us.

Thanks for the feedback. One of your steak meals was refunded. 2 customers were asked to leave as I’m sure you are well aware, one a regular who was speaking to you and your friend and the other one was your friend who was wanting to arm wrestle customers at the bar. Bad language and loud intimidating behaviour in a family friendly pub is unacceptable and not something we allow
