Not the biggest site but we didn’t mind because it was a lot easier for the little ones to walk to and from the bathrooms and the park ect
No me gustó: Wasn’t a lot of noise from the pub but the road next to us was fairly noisy. Their were constantly ducks flying over us which were lovely to watch but they were fairly loud and you had to be careful because they pooped all over our tent and car… and they always flew over us early hours and late at night which woke us up because of how loud they are.

No me gustó: When we arrived we were surprised to find the campsite was at the back of a pub. The campervan pitches were right next to the pub garden which would have been noisy all evening.The small field was strewn with randomly pitched tents, with little organisation. The site looked overbooked.
We drove in and straight back out again.
We found a nice quiet campsite a few miles away.
Brilliant site, perfect as it's right next too a park and the pub

Over priced
Sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. The description on pitchup does state basic facilities. For future guests reading this we would always recommend booking for food prior to your visit as we do get very busy.

No me gustó: Toilet and shower blocks could do with and upgrade, however they were perfectly useable.
I tealise this is a campsite and things are bound to get dirty however maybe the toilets/showers could do with servicing/checking a couple of times in the day instead of just in the morning, by the evening the floors were muddy, there was no toilet roll and toilet bowls were a little dirty.
Thanks for the feedback. We are hoping to upgrade the toilets in the low season. The facilities are checked and cleaned at least twice a day in busy periods. Glad you enjoyed your stay and your food in the pub.

The description on pitchup does clearly indicate that the campsite is behind a pub so I am surprised that you were surprised it was at the back of a pub! The site wasn’t overbooked as you suggest. You also state in your review that you drove in and straight back out again so not sure how you have come up with such a low rating for us when you didn’t actually stay here.
