A Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommended!
We had an amazing experience at this campsite – it’s perfect for families and incredibly well-maintained. The site was immaculately clean throughout, and the whole atmosphere felt friendly, safe, and welcoming.
The hosts were lovely – always approachable, helpful, and easily contactable via WhatsApp throughout the day. The self-service check-in process was simple and smooth, which made arriving stress-free.
The site rules are clear and reasonable, but what really stood out was how naturally respectful everyone was. There was no need for strict enforcement – it just felt like a well-run community where everyone looked out for each other. The environment was especially wonderful for children; they were encouraged to play and have fun, and it was heartwarming to see them all getting along and playing together without any issues.
We stayed in the bell tent at pitch 25, which was spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The toilet and shower facilities were spotless, with both individual and family shower options – a really thoughtful touch.
Overall, this campsite exceeded our expectations in every way. I would 100% stay again and absolutely recommend it to friends and family!

Hi Trevor
Thanks for your comments about the actual bell tent itself, we pride ourselves on cleanliness and well looked after accommodation.
i would like to clear a few things up, firstly the location of our bell tents and pitches most have a circular road around the whole site, this is because we are a small site.
the misleading info you refer to the cable length / sockets are for people booking pitches for their own tents, our bell tents in the advert advertise they have there own sockets.
should you of contacted reception we would of provided extra leads should you needed them.
what you had done is unplug your neighbouring tent disconnecting there electrics so you could have your own second lead?!
i can confirm the note was quickly wrote by myself as i had to reconnect your neighbour, (and it was raining) i rolled your cable up and as it was raining i unzipped about 1foot of the tent and popped your lead inside to save it getting wet! you wasn't there for me to chat to.
i did not enter your tent!
i can only apologize about the picnic bench that was missed on our behalf and has now been removed, if you would of contacted reception this would have been replaced immediately.
the tyre swing in the woods was put up by neighbouring children so not part of our playpark, but again i will certainly go replace or remove.
I'm writing a lengthy response so our other guests can see there are 2 sides to every story.
i will be contacting you directly as well as we would love to offer you the opportunity to come back with a small discount as i feel these issues could have been resolved at reception.
i wish and your family all the best
John
