Pitch was amazing, stayed in the walled garden! The whole property was stunning, loads of lovely places to walk, doggie friendly as well.. Have a separate area to eat if you have your dog with you. Pub is about 5-10 minute walk.. Staff are very friendly as well.. Will be a place we will definitely return to..

Only 1 working toilet, but not a problem if you have a portable loo..

A lovely peaceful secure site and protected by the wall garden and away from main rd, able to use the main garden for walks when house closed. Only 17 EHU and all on hardstanding(ideal for anyone wanting a quiet site). Facilities and waste and chemical disposal on site.

Love this site.. amazing grounds to explore, lovely cafe.
Very peaceful, lots of birdsong in the mornings!

Only 2 toilets & 1 was out of order.
Wet-room showers so floor never looks clean. However it’s not advertised with toilet facilities so can’t complain too much. Really wish they’d spend the money & add proper showers, extra toilets as it’s a great place!

This is a beautiful quite and well laid out site the advantage of it being walked means it’s very sheltered.

The grounds have beautiful walks an excellent park for the kids and the coffee shop is open during seasonal times.

This is one of my favourite places to come an absolute hidden gem.

The grounds of the Caravan Park are well maintained and maturing very nicely. We were lucky to enjoy some amazingly warm Spring sunshine making our walks through the grounds and down to the Tweed all the more rewarding.
Paxton House and grounds are a delightful place to visit at any time of year and repeat visits are a must in my calendar year.

Sadly, on this visit there appeared to be a problem with the Elsan emptying point, appearing to be something of a blockage. We reported this by phone and were told this would be investigated. Whether an investigation took place I don't know but by the time we left (5 days later), the obstruction was still evident. Waste water was also escaping through cracks in the stack that holds the waste pipe. Not good. Paxton need to look at a more resilient solution.
That said, it was still a most enjoyable visit.

Location was lovely great for walks nice and quiet 10 minutes walk away from the local pub (The Cross Keys) reasonably level pitches facilities were clean we will be delighted to stay again 😀
