We always stay at Paxton house .
The staff are so welcoming and help full .
I mixed up all my booking dates and the amazing staff helped rebook .
The antique fare was so nice so much to look at and every stall holder was so nice to help .

My partner had to help Amy unblock the toilet drop as other campers have lost the cover from their toilets 🤯
My partner pulled out 3 different covers which also means that their caravan or campervan toilets won't work 🤯
Derek helped Amy and showed her how to unblock .
Amy still had a lovely smile at the end off the mess 😊😊

Lovely site, beautiful house grounds, good size pitches

not enough toilets

The site is well spaced out, gravel pitches with grass and hedges. Two new shower/ toilet rooms, spotless. The grounds are wonderful. Very dog friendly. Didn't have time to do the house tour but will definitely be back to do that.
Brilliant place, very relaxing

A great wee site. Quiet and well spaced. Need to be self contained. Paxton House is well worth a visit but you need to book. Walks around the grounds are well marked and good but not extensive. Walk to Union Chain Bridge is well worth it. Only negative is cost is high compared to other sites.

Cost and vfm compared to other sites

Very well laid out site, lots of room between pitches with small hedges between each. Small but very clean toilet and shower block. Set in old walled garden so very sheltered. We didn’t need levelling blocks but some pitches do. Good waste facilities for both motorhome or caravan. Very laid back and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

Lovely walled site real suntrap, loads of dog walks around with plenty of little interesting landmarks. Very friendly staff and coffee shop will visit Paxton House on next visit definitely.

Very nice garden and walking paths, peaceful with the sound of nature. Relaxing afternoon tea in the tearoom and easy travel distance to Berwick-upon-Tweed and Lindisfarne. Definitely will be back again .

Nice setting with access to Paxton house and grounds

Grass on pitch hadn’t been cut for some
time.

The grounds were stunning, and a lovely walk around them was easily accessible. The pitches were large and flat, and also came with electric hook-up already included in the price, which I thought was very reasonable.
