Yes great little site, my only wish as being a lone camper was that someone had thought of a nice little open fronted hut with benches and seats and a welcome for a chat sign. Take a cuppa and a cake to share with fellow campers. Share stories about camp sites and adventures while travelling etc....

Price a bit highish as very limited facilities, but the sight was very clean and well kept.

Surrounding woodlands, cafe, Big house and walks.

Fab location. New wetrooms. Access to the Tweed and the Borders.

Several vehicles (prob who had visited the house or the fair) decided to take a “tour” around the campsite on their way out. Better security to prevent this would be welcome.

Loved the site and the lovely walks. Also thought the tea room was really good and great value

Never disliked anything only one thing I would say is the row never had a water tap. Had to take everything down to get to a tap to fill up the water on the motor home

Third time at Paxton, very nice and quiet
. Lots of things to do. Great walks if you're capable.

A bit pricey for me as a single pensioner. No discounts. I'll have to go back to the caravan and camping sites to get the offers available for me. Sadly Paxton may not be an option, even though it is a good place to stay.

Paxton House is a beautiful location and a great place to stay if you’re exploring.
We were there as part of the Antique fair so to leave the hustle and bustle of the day the walled garden site offers a great sense of tranquility.
Whilst there, take walks around the grounds and by the river, there’s a fun play area for kids, the house tour is a must and the food and staff are all amazing.

Lovely peaceful site surrounded by historic walled garden. Acres of woodland to explore, including the river Tweed. Close to Berwick upon Tweed with lots of pleasant back roads to explore by bicycle. The local historic house was also fascinating to visit and hosts a regular craft fair.

The toilet block was quite modern but would struggle to serve the site if it was truly busy. Clean, but could have been better designed and maintained.

What a great location within the walled garden. Spacious pitch all inclusive EHU, freshwater and disposal. Almost level pitches.

Spacious pitches and lovely location in the walked garden. Was at capacity but never seemed busy. Walks around the grounds and river are a delight. (Sunny hot day which always helps)
10 minute walk to a pub, friendly atmosphere and a nice outdoor sitting area. Didn’t eat so can’t comment.
Lack of toilets could be an issues for some, only 2 and shower in same cubicle. All in all a lovely nights stay. Second stay and would stay again.
