No me gustó: It was not what we wanted or liked it's just a huge field with caravans permantly around the perimeter not much of a shop. A curfew of 10 pm and we were there family events and had to leave early to get back or we had to sleep in the car we couldn't climb the gate I am disabled and could not lift my mobility scooter over. We saw one caravan arrive and turn away.
A great countryside location and very clean facilities

No me gustó: Nothing ... it's not a dislike but when we booked we stated we had a disabled party member so needed to be close to facilities but we were a field away so quite a distance from the toilets.

Our allocated plot was already taken when we drove to it and so we were moved to a different pitch without any fussNo me gustó: Rowdy groups, parking 7 tonne lorries next to our pitch.
Many pitches had 5 or more cars and vans with them.
A large male only group were throwing aerosol cans on to a fire to make them explode. Staff did intervene and dealt with it quickly and firmly though.
There's limited privacy when emptying your chemical toilet and limited fixed toilet facilities
If you are a social person who likes mixing with different groups when away this is a great place for you. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, then this isn't the venue. But horses for courses.
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. It was great to see that you enjoyed our beautiful rural location, and that you found the staff helpful.
We do limit the number of vehicles per booking, but if several bookings pitch near to each other then maybe this gave the impression of more cars being on one pitch.

No me gustó: No wifi anywhere, nice to switch off but made searching for local things and directions tricky.
Had a really fantastic stay and definitely going back.

The little cafe/ shop was brilliant the guy who runs it was a absolute gent and the lady who cooks so nice and genuine., felt very welcomed. Close to lots of amenities lots to do within walking distance and by car. Kids loved the play area lots of room for them to run around. Love the rule no music after 10pm means your not being kept awake.
No me gustó: Lack of signage as to where to go when you arrive as noone was in the booth at entrance when we arrived ( 145pm ).
Wifi a bit hit and miss but not end of world.

We do try to keep the reception booth manned at all times during the day, but apologies if you had to wait to be checked in.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, however we reall are a lot more than just a field. We have excellent facilities ( as you mention, our facilities are are in excellent condition and kept very clean). We also have an onsite bar, café and shop, a Childrens play area, and so much more!
For our customers peace and safety we do lock the main gate at night, but there is ample space at the side to drive a mobility scooter through.
