The site was neat and tidy, the facilities were clean and well laid out. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The only very minor point was the lack of a cubicle for personal hygiene. Otherwise the bathroom and shower facilities were excellent.

The pod I stayed at was a larger one. It lookednew clean and fresh and was located higher up on the hill at the edge of the woods. If you are looking for a quiet retreat with plenty of places to hike, this the one for you. You can walk to Clapham, footpath is signposted. As it was February when I stayed it was very quiet. Reception wasn't manned, but they are very organized. The key was waiting in a box outside reception.
The shower is 50 p for 10 minutes which is plenty. The shower block was warm, clean and spacious but could do wth a few hooks where to hang your stuff. The pot wash was indoors as it was winter, probably the warmest pot wash room I encountered.
The pod had several sockets and underfloor heating. Took a while to heat up, got warm eventually.

We stayed at the pod and it was all we needed. Enough space, heating, picnic bench and table outside and firepit, perfect.

Facilities are also spot on, clean and more than enough of them.

There's a quite a big shop on site, we didn't use it but seems to have everything you could need/forget to bring.

Nice touch was a good coffee machine in one of the rooms, where you could buy a coffee etc. The weather didn't work out well for us so just getting a coffee was super convenient.

Hoping to come back again in summer with a tent.

The pod doors lock could do with updating, it's fairly flimsy and doesn't seem very secure. If you really wanted to, you could open the locked doors pretty easily.

Not really disliked but more of a suggestion, the decking on pods could do with a chicken wire over it as it gets very slippery when wet. Obviously just be careful but it's something that could easily result in an injury if someone wasn't.

We stayed in a family pod was ideal size for me my husband and two dogs. Heated very quickly was lovely and warm as we went in February. We pretty much had field to ourselves due to the season but dogs loved the dog field and lovely walks near by. The showers and toilets were immaculate.

Spacious pitch with a picnic table, water tap and hook up. Showers and toilets spotless. Low season, so no problem getting a hot shower whenever we liked. Blocks warm and well lit with music playing. Hired a fire pit and wood etc. very reasonable.

Fabulous site, pitches level, with both water and electricity on each pitch. Picnic table an added bonus too. Good spacing between pitches. Excellent toilet and shower facilities, spotlessly clean and with underfloor heating.
Great location for hiking or cycling. Easy walking distance to two villages with pubs and cafes.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.
