Great location in the North Yorkshire Dales. The site had large, level, serviced pitches with green spaces and the facilities were perfect.

Absolutely beautiful site. Spotlessly clean. We stayed in our campervan on the tent pitches. The site was full but everyone had plenty of space. The reception ladies and site manager really friendly. Beautiful walks and the enclosed dog field was such a bonus. We will definitely be back

Absolutely nothing to dislike

Everything. Good size pitches with lovely surroundings and plenty of space for the kids to play. Excellent toilet and shower
block. Great to have a shop on sight and a pleasant dog walk leading to a beck with a picnic area. Staff here were very friendly and helpful. Loved this campsite.

We had a lovely stay. Staff were very helpful and everywhere was lovely and clean. Enjoyed the pizzas and being able to hire a firepit was a plus. Already looking at when we can come back

A really nice site with excellent facilities and great staff

The quiet time is a bit later than usual (11 PM) but that's just me.

Great pizza on Saturday nights and bacon butties on Sunday morning.
Showers and toilets nice as clean and handy shop in the site.

Children allowed to play ball games absolutely anywhere instead of having a designated play area for children. I didn't appreciate having a football hit my car quite late at night.

Everything about this campsite is perfect . So well maintained and the warden Jamie was so friendly . The washrooms were stunning . A beautiful gem . We will be returning .

Nothing . It was the busiest hottest weekend in July . Full campsite like festival vibes . The warden sorts any noisy neighbours out after the curfew .

The site is spotless, and I mean spotless, even the toilet and shower blocks.
The home made pizzas available on Saturday nights are a must.
It was very busy on Friday and Saturday night but plenty of space between tents on the open field so it didn't feel claustrophobic.

The toilet and shower block were immaculate. There were 2 hairdryers which were free to use. There was a tall freezer in the information room. The shop was fairly well equipped with essentials, toys and bags of ice. Bacon butties and hot drinks are available on Sunday mornings from 8:30, which is great if you’re needing to leave camp at 10:30.
There are fire pits available for free if you buy some wood (quite reasonably priced) and a chap drives around with them on the back of a trailer.
There are no restrictions to pitching up your tent, Tentbox or camper van: you can basically go anywhere you like. It’s a huge field and there is a goal post at one end with plenty of space for people to play.
The management are very chilled, and you can keep your fire going as long as you keep the volume down.
Despite it being a large site, it was perfectly quiet during the night.
There is a dog exercise field next door.
There are plenty of washing up stations, and although they are covered, they are outdoors.
The Game Cock pub is within 10 minute walk and it has a lovely beer garden with covered booths; fabulous food, too!

The toilet and shower block doesn’t have any hooks, other than in the shower cubicles.
If you want to buy something in the shop using contactless the minimum spend is £5, so make sure to take cash (especially 50p’s for the showers (you get 10 minutes for that, though!)
There is no other choice of hot sandwich on Sunday mornings than bacon.
