Pitches were a good size and grounds well kept, toilet block was new and immaculate. Play area was huge and brand new. The bar, decking and lake next to itwith the festoon lights was just amazing. Real holiday chilled out vibes with music, really good food, drink prices very reasonable and just a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be returning. One of the best sites we’ve been to!

Nothing at all

Lovely surroundings on site. It was very quiet in the field we were in. The area where most caravans were looked pretty busy! Would like to bring Grandkids one day as play park looked amazing! Hubby used loo block and said it was good. Helpful lady in reception. We had everything we needed on board so didn’t use cafe but that and sitting by lake looked lovely! The walk to Old Buckenham and the airfield museum was partly on the road which is narrow and fast so needed to be wary. Lovely church and a book shop in the old school.

Closest drinking water tap wasn’t useable. We and others in same field had to go across other side of site to obtain water. Too many dogs and many off lead. Long grass along roadside by us had dogs fouling in it. Not nice for children if it wasn’t spotted and picked up by owners. Also not pleasant to observe while eating our tea!

Really struggled with Wifi on certain networks

When I arrived there was no one to greet me and the signage was lacking. I wasn’t completely sure which way to go which isn’t great when towing on unknown roads. I couldn’t get through to anyone on the phone number on the hut and the access roads are very rutty. I travelled with another party and luckily they were met only minutes behind me so after a loop (the wrong way round the one-way system/poor signage) we were shown to our pitch. The pitches were not numbered so although we were pointed in the right direction it was pot luck where we were actually meant to be. The pitches at the bottom are uneven but correctable with ramps. I the ground was surprisingly good considering the amount of rain we had leading up to my visit. We did get a surprise fate turn up on the Sunday on part of the site. I would have expected this information to be given over at the time of booking. It didn’t bother me but could do for some. All of this said, I would return. The facilities were really good - couldn’t fault them. The bar/cafe by the lake is awesome on a sunny evening and even during the day. It’s a large site with many campers but everyone was quiet by 10. I didn’t venture off site so not sure what is around that area but the bar/cafe seemed to attract many off site visitors from cyclists to dog walkers and many others.

Generous pitch sizes and plenty of outdoor space to explore. The play area included for children was a great space.
Shower and toilet block again spacious and reasonably clean, (the weather we had we expected some dirt).
The cafe was a lovely space and those running the site were all very friendly, polite and helpful.
It was a quiet site very much suited for us.
The facilities for water were well spread and flowed well too compared to other sites we have been on.

Occasionally there could be a strong odour in the shower block.
Only when you pull out of the site is there large pot holes which made great fun for puddle jumpers but not so nice for bikes or cars going through.
Also would have been nice to have a little shop for necessities and a laundry room.
On occasions we did encounter cold showers, but generally they were hot.

Level pitches with plenty of space, toilet block was clean and the site was in a good location for exploring Norfolk

There is supposedly a noise curfew but most campers werent aware of this and played loud music/talked loudly well into the night. The pitches are very close to each other so we ended up with a family blasting loud, very explicit music right behind us which felt particularly inappropriate for a family campsite (not the site's fault per se, but reminding campers of the family nature of the site would have been good, as qould enforcing the time limit on loud music). The showers absolutely stank and the water had a sulphurous smell to it, to the point where I smelled worse coming out of the shower than going in. There was one day where there was only one toilet roll between the 6 womens toilet cubicles. The road within the site was so poorly maintained and full of enormous potholes that I now have to take my car to the garage to fix the rattling noise that started while driving onto the site!

Lovely campsite. Great facilities plenty of showers and toilets.
Nice little park for the kids, we loved the little cafe and food vans that’s were on site. Really enjoyed our stay.

Showers were cold on the last day but lovely and hot the rest of the time.

The whole place had such a lovely vibe to it, the bar/cafe was well priced and served a good range of drinks. The toilets were very clean and good facilities. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back. Street food van on the Saturday was delicious.

I don’t have a bad word to say about the campsite at all
