The site was lovely, it has a good play area for the children.

The site was quite loud and active. Nice vibes. People were generally quiet after 11pm ISH.

Pitch was large

Once you got on site you did not see staff members (except at the cafe). This can be good or bad depending on your requirements.

Check in was a bit of a nightmare. Arrived at 3pm. And their site office is closed with no one there & no one answering the phone (had a problem with getting hold of them prior to our stay when wanted to check some details). Hadn't been before and didn't find the layout or signs easy to work out. Drove around quite a while before stopping to ask at the cafe, who were the backup check in when the office was shut. Again this wasn't clear enough.

Hadn't noticed there was no shop!! Walked down to their onsite cafe to ask where I could buy milk - No where to buy essentials without driving off site. If you read this I would definitely recommend adding even a few essentials in a fridge at the cafe, never been to a campsite without a little shop, especially as there's no shops nearby.

Had to drive 20/40+ mins to get anywhere.

Showers scalding hot - no way to adjust temp, just a press in button. Children couldn't bare them and must admit I found it very difficult.

Beautiful site, friendly helpful staff, good facilities and a lovely cafe overlooking the lake. We will be back.

Bit remote if you don’t have a car

Flat pitches, good dog walking, lots of toilets and showers in one block. Grass kept nice and short, pitches are ok in size. Good views. 1.4m walk I to Old Buckingham with 2 nice pubs.
Great little bar on site with good outdoor seating and plenty of shade, looking onto Lake.
Food and pizza very nice.

Toilet and showrr doors need oiled as squeaked constantly.
Toilets regularly blocked, probably down to kids playing in there. Sinks needed refitted as some loose, one didn't work.

Very relaxed site in beautiful countryside. Great facities, showers, toilet block, cafe. Also great for young families, playground, ducks, etc. Fairly prices pitches

Family orientated, great facilities, great swing park

Not many places to shade in the sunshine but fine if have own gazebo and there is one large cool shaded area with tables by the cafe/bar overlooking the water.

Loved the atmosphere. The site was really clean and well maintained. The staff couldn’t have been nicer!

It would have been a perfect site if only there were freezers to put ice blocks in. It meant having to either live off pot noodles or go and buy things which added to the expense. Such a simple thing would have made a massive difference.

The Park with it's pond and wild life, cafe snack bar area were as with the other facilities clean and well run which given the number of people must be quite a task.

Very tight ! A little more space between neighbours would have been nice.
The gently rolling landscape while flat did tend to send things tipping down hill.

Freedom to park as we wished in our pitch, friendly welcome, live music on the Friday evening. Great ambience on the decking with a pint listening to the music. Lovely peaceful site with great toilet/shower block. Fishing was popular. Good to see young lads having a go.

Metal wire fencing, felt this to be dangerous. Someone could accidently garrot their neck as it doesn't show up very well, esp at dusk. Wooden plank fencing would be safer and look in keeping with the area.
