Our second trip here and as wonderful as ever. Beautiful site. Spacious. Well managed. Particularly like the fact it’s now adults only.

Lovely toilets, hot showers and washing up facilities. Freezer available for use, located in washing up room. Useful tiny shop.

A pity that the dog walking area is also the tent camping field. Would be good if a separate area could be identified, but I don't know where this could be located. Dogs were being kept on leads as far as I saw.

Friendly welcome, excellent clean site, excellent facilities, lovely location, secure and nice atmosphere. Brilliant pub a short walk away.

We were pitched in the separate 'Robins Nest' field. None electric tent pitch. Initially we found an excellent spot in the bottom corner of the field which we had to ourselves..... However, our peace was soon shattered by the very loud noise of a generator over the hedge (neighbours property). This continued at several times every day, starting (at one point) at 5:30 in the morning and again late into the night. Upon complaining the site owners could not apologise enough (they have already contacted the authorities with regard to this issue). We moved our pitch further up the field, but still could hear the noise although a little more tolerable. The neighbours continued to drive up and down the adjacent lane on a motorbike or with metal trailers. We would love to return when this issue is resolved.

Oakmoor was an amazing site. Simple yet just as we like it. Quiet and peaceful. Spotlessly clean showers and always hot. Room for playing boule or croquet or any other game.. well organised visits from the fairy cod mother (fish and chips) which was amazing .. on various mornings the coffee and pastry can came to the site & a bbq came to cook for you on a Friday night too.. all was enjoyed. Short drive to local shops for essentials. And 25-30mins to most of the beach and sea towns. Some beautiful walks locally too. If we could only pick this campsite up and take to every corner of this country we’d be very happy indeed.

One men's and two ladies showers were out of order before we arrived and still out of order when we left.

Lovely site , nice and quiet, a short walk through a wooded area to a nice local pub , very friendly and lunch we had was great .A guy selling coffee and pastries came a couple of mornings, highly recommend, and a local farmer came Friday eve selling steak , burgers and sausages . The site owners were lovely, would recommend popping here for a couple of nights.
