Very well run campsite. Facilities very well maintained. Coffee fish and chip and barbecue vans visit throughout the week.
Adults only. Very flat pitches and small site.
Owners very friendly and helpful.

We would like to say what a beautiful site this is exceptionally cleaan and the grounds pristinely kept. We had a wonderful and peaceful relaxing break, My wife and myself would like to thank all at Oakmoor for all they do.

One of the best campsites we've stayed. A very warm welcome, especially as we arrived earlier than expected. Lovely grassed sites that are regularly maintained. Plenty of room on each site. A common open ground for people to play or sit at provided bench tables to eat at. Award-winning bathroom facilities. Very clean, continuous hot water, plenty of toilets and showers so that waiting is not a problem if the camp is full. Full wash up facilities and use of freezer avail. Basic necessities avail at the office. Small and quiet. 7 mins to Bovey Tracey. Walk to the local pub. Highly recommend 👌.

Clean and tidy site, friendly and helpful staff. Chip and coffee vans visit, nice to have a meal provided. Bovey was an interesting place to visit, nice walks along the river.

Nice, quite, relaxing site. Clean and tidy amenities, well maintained, a credit to the site owners. A great adults only sites in the country side not far from A38, easy access for bigger units, and close to places of interest, great for touring and stopovers enroute. Nice walks in the area, public footpaths to local pub. Enjoyable stay for a quiet getaway.

Sadly some dog owners allowed their pets off-lead on site to roam around other other units, noticed a few used the central open space grassed area with seating/picnic tables for their pets to defecate rather than use the specified dog exercise area. It is a dog friendly site, please don't abuse it!

Really nice place to stay . As we enjoy walking Chudleigh Knighton is only a fifteen minute walk and virtually all off road. We walked to Chudleigh and Bovey Tracey which aren’t that far. The couple who run Oakmoor are lovely and the toilets are always clean .

Only downside was that you can hear the A38 throughout the night but it isn’t that bad and we both slept well .

There is no distinct dog walking area where dogs could be let off lead. Also there is a £10 cash deposit (refundable on departure) for a fob to raise the site entrance barrier. We don't tend to have or use cash these days. Finally, Shower cubicles were a little small / tight for us.
