Very friendly and helpful staff. Yes the facilities are basic but given they’re temporary facilities they were very clean and functioned extremely well - better than many permanent facilities.

The picturesque location and very friendly staff.
The lady delivering the fires and logs on her quad bike was the best! So much so, upon us deciding we wanted to move to the other field she was quick to help us out and I even rode on the back of the quad bike whilst holding our 2 man partially erect tent! It was an hilarious (if somewhat dangerous) experience. She really did go above and beyond and I would definitely recommend to a friend and return again!
Honestly the views were extraordinary and for the small cost of the pitch, you really do get your monies worth!
Within walking distance of Derwent water lake where you can enjoy walks along the lake, boat rides and sit back whilst taking in the beauty of the lakes!

The toilets were rather smelly! So much so, we didn’t use them unless absolutely desperate. There weren’t many toilets for the amount of campers. However, it didn’t affect our trip, just something to be aware of if clean, non smelly toilets are a deal breaker!

Close to Keswick.

Toilets were horrendous. Worst I've ever seen. The smell can only be described as rotten fish mixed with very heavy chemical cleaner. Poo smeared on the toilet wall. It rained for 2 days so the field just became a bog. Cars then chewed up the grass making it hard to get off the site and walk to the toilets. Lots of young lads there playing loud music till late.

Location, amenities and friendly staff. It was a real shame about the weather.

Site got muddy in the torrential rain we had.

It was lovely to stay at Newlands.
An amazing place with very friendly owner, clean facilities and delicious pancakes served.
I would definitely come back there next year.

We had a really amazing time here. Picked two glorious days in August and enjoyed the picturesque surroundings, including Catbells and the lake. The campsite staff were so friendly, helpful and flexible and the price was so reasonable. The toilets were clean and well-kept. Would definitely visit again and have recommended to friends and family!

Easy to get to. They rent fire pits and sell wood. near a pub with one of the best beer gardens.

Views, peace, stream, toilets , fires allowed, no restriction on gazebos etc, coffee and breakfast van.

Smallish shower cubicles so hard to get changed in. Take towel/ dry robe with you to solve this!

Great pop up campsite. It is situated in an amazing beautiful area of the Lake District. Easy to reach and access to local walks. The camp site is basic but, the facilities are clean and very usable and staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 2 days. The campsite is quiet and it nice to let the children play with good sight of the campsite. Really happy, good value and would do it again 👍

I honestly can't find a fault. If you appreciate that my family and i are use to the more traditional and basic style of camping, this site however had everything needed.
