Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Huge site with lots of space. Toilets were very clean and cleaned regularly by staff. The showers seemed brand new, were very clean and had lovely hot water. We camped on the left hand side of the field by the river and experienced a lot of mosquitoes. It may be best to camp on the right hand side further from the river. There is no wifi but we had perfect signal on the field, (and we have pretty rubbish old phones!).
All of the staff were very helpful and lovely to talk to, couldn’t do enough for us. Their Labrador Poppy got on great with our Chihuahua Jessie, and made her feel at ease on her first ever camping trip!
The site is a short drive from Keswick for shopping and Derwentwater for walking and boat trips.
We had a lovely time and would love to come back next year!

No me gustó: Showers werent that great and the mens toilet was blocked and smelt really bad. Also needed a better area to refil our water bottle rather than using the same tap water we use to wash plates.

Yes there was a men's toilet out of use for one of the nights this was an issue we resolved as quickly as we could and we opened the second toilet block during this time.
We always get great feedback from the showers so its a shame you found them disappointing. As a pop up campsite we hire the very best and latest equipment we can get.

No me gustó: Nowhere to freeze ice blocks, sinks too small to have a wash and only one washing up station, which was also where you filled up water bottles so often a queue.

The sinks are only hand wash sinks in the bathrooms but there are showers which are included in the price.
There are several water points around the site, maybe we should look at making these abit clearer.
