We went in July and unlike other campsites we've stayed at, everyone took note of the quiet time. Evenings were chilled and very friendly. We were right next to the electric hook up and water (their own spring) which was even more fantastic.
The shower and toilet block was great, yes, people have moaned about the shower heat - I didn't have a problem, I just held it down until it heated up - not an issue. There are little bucket type things hanging in the shower where you can put your shampoo etc. I found this a really nice touch. Lots of space to get changed and they had a family/accessible area too. All was very clean and the music was fab.
They also have a laundry which is free vend, they sell the washing 'stuff' in reception which I think is also a fantastic touch.
The outdoor heated pool!! WOW!! there was rain (I know shocking in summer! LOL) on the Saturday so we went in the pool, it's clear covered with big openable windows, and to be in the warm water listening and seeing the rain hit the windows - wow, was really fabulous!! And it's a great size too.
Games room too is also a great touch, with sofas and TV too, again a surprise and a great thing to have. Woodland walk and close to the beach. If you have mobility issues, the walk down to the beach may be an issue to you, but there are plenty of others close by and to be honest, the views and the site is magnificent so if you don't get down there, it won't impact your stay.
This was our first time here but it won't be our last. Blooming brilliant site.
The map and useful information given to you on arrival is great and really useful, as it states :-)
And yes, you have to pay for Wi-Fi, £15 for 3 days for up to 4 devices - pretty good I'd say and it was a great service too.No me gustó: Not a dislike - I would recommend taking the first right turn when you seen the Morfa Bychan sign as that's a little more straight forward, we took the second and it was a little faffy but the scenery was wonderful.
Also, not a dislike, the pool rules, these and other useful information is given to you on arrival is great, however, the pool rules weren't anywhere in the pool area. This, I would say would be a great place for them as there were a number of people doing all the don'ts and without the rules being in view, nothing much can be done.

The facilities were clean and tidy also. There were many dog bins provided- so no excuse. The beach was fascinating to us and enjoyed the sounds of the waves with the smell of the fresh sea salt in the air. We were that impressed, we shall be returning next year.
No me gustó: The only down side is the shop doesn’t sell many items, such as souvenirs, camping items, or foods. But if you go well prepared like we did, we didn’t need to leave the site to shop.

We seem to have ticked all the boxes on your visit except the shop, we advertise as a basics shop for bread milk bacon egss, and do have a small stock of other items, fridge magnets, tent pegs, toilet blue/green and pink but as space allows we would hopefully make more us to stock more items.

No me gustó: I had to reverse a 7.8mtr motorhome down the steep entrance road 150mtrs because a 30 ton lorry was coming the other way with No passing points . I ended catching the fence ripping off a rear light and damaging a locker 😡

We are glad that we did all that we promised for your stay with us, quiet and peaceful, pleasant and attentive staff and those views are the best.
We find it a little difficult to accept a poor review because of your journey to us was not as it should be.
We ask every booing to arrive after 2pm on a recommended way into and depart before 12pm again by a recommneded way.
As the road network is accessible to all around Wales it is solely the choice of the driver to take another way into the park, the signage on the roadway makes it clear the lane access you took was for light traffic only.
One of our neighbours must have had a delivery on the same day, which is why you met a lorry.
Had you arrived on the recommended access route then this would have made it a better outcome for you and for us all around.
Lets hope this review will ensure that if recommended arrival times and routes to any park in the UK are posted that customer will heed a little closely to save a lot of despair and upset.

Thank you for letting us know that all that we list as being available was here for you, our staff work tirelessly to keep the park so nice and those views speak for themselves.
Being so far from the beaten track means we can offer the peace and tranquility.
This then means we have to recommend a coastal path walk of 3 miles to visit Aberystwyth with regular local taxis offering their services to get people to and from.
Our washrooms are due a massive upgrade as posted outside of the reception and washrooms.
Again as we are so far away from anyone local, we are actively trying to encourage anyone with a food facility to park up free of charge on the park to serve our customers, unfortunately there is no one to be found, we just have to use Just Eat for a curry delivery, pizza delivery or chinese delivery and even the couple of local take ways which deliver to the park regularly.

We are actively upgrading each pitch as we introduce them to include water and electricity as a minimum, the Kestrel Pitches benefit from a grey waste water point for washing up water.
Camping and touring are getting so popular that once we get to summer we have a lot of customers getting away from their everyday lives to have a night, weekend or a week long stay away from road noise, light pollution and to enjoy the fresh sea air, out of season is usually the time to enjoy these aspects without too many people on the park.

Unfortunately due to operational restraints and chemical circulation times 10am is the earliest opening of the pool to ensure the best quality of water and also to ensure those who have their holiday homes close to where the pool is situated are not rudely awakened from their holiday relaxation time.

The site is well kept, the best we've come across. Everything is so well cared for with superb planting around the generous pitches.
The washrooms are immaculately clean but getting a full makeover.
Laundry, games room and heated pool are all available.
The staff on site can't help enough and go above and beyond.
This place is beautiful and can't wait to returnNo me gustó: No dislikes, just follow the site instructions to get there as their way is definitely preferable for motorhomes and towing. We tow 8 foot wide and had no issues.

We pride on giving a good service as mucha s we are able to, nothing we can do about the weather but this did not spoil your stay with us.
As you enter the pool area there is a notice board with the pool rules visible for all to see, we thought it was big enough but if you missed it on entering then maybe we need to get another one made and positioned.
Unfortunately, human nature will mean that no matter how many signs you have, no matter how many times some people are spoken to there will always be some who do not think they need to be responsible for their own actions.
