Very peaceful adults only site with a lovely vineyard next door serving evening food and drinks. We had a great grass pitch with lots of wild birds on the feeders, shady tree and no near neighbours. Good washing up facilities, drinking water and elsan point.

Only 2 ladies’ toilets for the whole site but they were clean and I never had to queue even though site was quite full so not too much of a problem. Showers were basic but ok. Our pitch was perfect but some of the pitches on the main field didn’t seem to have much shade.

The setting was idilic, quiet, well maintained and clean and the pitch owners were very welcoming and informative. Advised us of the best place to pitch up and what way to face given the weather, most helpful for new campers!

Facilities were clean and not too far from the pitch site. Washing up area had hot water and the portashower was a new thing for us but hot and clean. Shops a 5 minute drive away if needed.

Vineyard next door was a plus and worth a visit!!

The fishing lakes were another plus and when the sun shone it was beautiful and relaxing. More to explore in the area that we didn’t have time for. A site worth visiting and we will be back.

The weather but that is beyond anyone’s control!

Nice clean, quiet site and very friendly. Small lake, horses in a distant field, very pretty outlook. Would recommend for a peaceful night away in the countryside.

What a lovely site. Small but so so quiet and peaceful. Facilities are spotless. Lovely little touches like the book library, free newspapers for starting fires and even free use of fire pits!!! Even hot water for washing up! Fantastic value for money and in a lovely setting. Wildlife galore and the fishing ponds are lovely to stroll around or just sit in peace at. The whole site is beautifully maintained and I felt really safe. Wonderful walks right on the doorstep (a short stroll up the very quiet road). Thoroughly recommend The Walshes Park for lovely walks with gorgeous views. Many different accessible paths.

- Being adults only, this was such a great place to get some peace and sun.
- Terrain to enter the campsite and pitches is flat. Easier accessibility for lower cars.
- Quiet location, very peaceful.
- Lots of signs clearly indicating ameneties and rules.
- Warm greeting upon entry
- The grass itself was in great condition and there is plenty of open sun.
- With campsites rising in popularity over recent years, prices have been creeping up, but not here! Thank you for keeping camping accessible.

NA. I didnt use the facilities as i was only staying the 1 night and left early morning.

Location, great views but had a Tesco five minutes drive away to pick up any bits you've forgotten.
Nice and quiet.
