Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: What a glorious site this is. Absolutely in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by birdsong, even an owl last night and a woodpecker this morning. Jason really helpful and provided some wood so we could enjoy a wonderful firepit last night. Stargazing a real treat. There’s a picnic table on each pitch. Facilities simple, in line with the type of campsite. Compost loos and a shower and a sink for washing up. Stayed with a friend in his camper and we were able to park next to each other and set up camp. Loved it, and will be back.

Lovely peaceful location with wonderful wildlife and trees/bushes. Brilliant escape from London, only 1 hour 20 minute drive. A chance to escape from it all.
No me gustó: Nothing to dislike. This is a natural site without fancy anything so if that’s not your thing, avoid.

No me gustó: Toilets could have been a little more well kept, some of the wood was green and slippery when wet. The fire wood was not the best quality for the price, dry hard wood is much cheaper else where.
thanks for your feedback, the site is going through some build seasonal changes at the moment so apologies if things were not to your expectations during your visit..(it was such a wet wet weekend too, im amazed you endured it). Hopefully we will get to welcome you back during sunnier and drier times later in the season...

If you're in to tranquility, woodland walks, fire pits and being at one with nature, then it is the place for you. Jason, who runs it, is very friendly and helpful. We have no negatives from the experience.

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: We loved the campsite, very quiet and peaceful! Toilets were nice and loads of good walks to do from the site.
No me gustó: We were told not to drive up the small hill with us all in the car to avoid skidding - granted we didn’t follow these instructions as it was raining a lot so we were all in the car at that was on us. The owner saw us at the top of the hill (we had no issues driving up it) and he got really angry and started swearing at us… which was a bit of an unwarranted reaction and made us leave the site not feeling great.
Thanks for your visit and i appreciate your feedback. It can be a little frustrating that seemingly intelligent people can't follow instructions to please allow the driver to get the car out before the other four people get in the car to avoid skidding or getting stuck and helping to reduce any damage to the land....and as you stated 'granted we did not follow the instructions'! were not 'at the top of the hill ', and unfortunately did cause some easily avoidable damage..i'm glad that otherwise you enjoyed the site and would be welcome back anytime.
Great site overall, mildly tainted with pricing structure though.

No me gustó: Website states £12 for logs and cites ‘unlimited’ but we had to pay twice for 2 bags. Misleading. Also membership to a club with a separate one time fee is mandated to stay here.
thanks for your feedback, and glad that you enjoyed the site . The person making the booking must be a member of the GCC and Just to clarify that the Logs are priced 'per bag' not a single fee for 'unlimited logs', misunderstood rather than misleading .

Thanks for your feedback and glad that you enjoyed the space...the facilities on site vary throughout the main season, but during Nov-April facilities are quite basic, but functional :) hope to welcome you back soon...
