The little church in the woods is worth a visit.

No me gustó: Drinking water (not from a tank), the toilets and shower are a real issue and need to be addressed.
thanks for your comments and glad that you enjoyed the space the site has to offer. the facilities on site are ever changing and any issues are dealt with as effectively as possible at the time by site manager. no matter what the issues maybe there is always drinking water available and a place for you to pee and poo :)

Jason was lovely, helpful when we asked for more coals and represented the campsite beautifully. It’s a calm spot for some family time, with space for games and room for each pitch to have space for their car beside them. No WiFi was great, a nice break from technology. Having the horses around brought another level of calm to the campsite, really lovely.
The local pub is about an hour away, sometimes across footpaths and some times on the road. Lovely food and very friendly staff. Thanks Jason 🙏

No me gustó: The lights didn’t work in the toilet. There wasn’t a washing up sink with taps to use which would have been very useful
Thanks for coming and your feed back... the lights in the loos need to be powered by a generator so i have solar inside, sorry they weren't working for you.. the wash up area is an ever evolving thing (like the rest of the site :) and will have changed again by the next time you visit no doubt ...thanks J

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: We loved that it wasn't overly booked (I know they deliberately try to keep numbers down on purpose). It was so nice and spacious with tents far apart from one another.
It was a really peaceful site and perfect for us to have a couple of days of relaxation and family time in a beautiful natural setting. There were lots of woods to wander around in too.
We loved that we were able to have a bbq and a camp fire (we hired a fire pit from Jason (the site manager) and also brought fire wood too.
Communication from Jason was amazing, texting site location and information prior to our arrival. He also came and welcomed us and was such a nice man! We are already planning another short stay (the site is also quite local to us).No me gustó: –
Thanks for your comments, being an off grid site sometimes there can be issues to deal with and some of the services are quite new to the site and ever evolving to help people enjoy a more 'rustic' and natural environment. Those who want a camping holiday rather than a holiday camp... we can't all (or want) to be centre parcs.
Campsite policy is that dogs should be on a lead at all times. should any guests experience any issues they all have the managers number to contact.
