Lovely site, owner Phillip was very welcoming, knowledgeable on local area and what activities we could do, which appealed to our group of 6 adults and 3 children.
Very clean facilities.

Having to pay for the showers, although Phillip did give each group a £’s worth of 20p’s.

A 20 min walk into town and the railway station. Still has a working signal Box. You cannot imagine my excitement about that. Phil the owner could not be more helpful. Always on hand and ready with any information you might need.
Just hope the shop in town will be finished next time we stay.

A good site with tents on top of a hill with excellent views across the River Towey estuary. Toilets and showers were clean. Phil, the site manager, was very friendly and helpful. Giving good local information including a pub 2 stops down the railway line selling beer for £2.50/pint. The site was half a mile from the station and a 20 min drive to shops in Carmarthen.

Sloping site so few level pitches.

Lovely position with partial views of the estuary. We were on the lower part of the field in a motor home on a lovely big pitch with hookup. We needed some levelling as on grass.
You can walk to the beach which is dog friendly. The village has a coffee shop, pub, cafe and Hotel, all within walking distance.
Don’t miss a trip on the unique little ferry.

Nothing really. There’s only a few hard standing pitches as the rest are seasonal
Pitches. Access into the field in a larger motor home was tight but doable.

From the moment we arrived until we left our experience was amazing. Our camping site was located at the top of a hill overlooking the bay. The view was spectacular and if you want a beautiful sunset, that is the place to be. Phillip checked in on us every day giving us local destinations to visit and explore. Close to the train, a little ferry that took you over across the bay, a pub and attractions. The bathrooms were spotless and the showers were hot. There was a big sink centrally located if you needed to do your washing up. Would deffo go back again soon. Thank you.

No shop in the village but there is one coming we hear.

Very clean toilets and you pay 20p for 5 minute shower. But the best bit about the toilets is that music is played which is great while showering and we all came out humming the tunes 😉
The owner is friendly, chilled and approachable.

Phil the owner was very welcoming and helpful. The views from the campsite were great with the beach only a short walk away. Plenty of space for camping. Facilities were decent.

Toilet block was a fair walk from the camping area, especially in the dark.
