Lovely variety of spacious, flat pitches, great local walks (both hilly challenges and flat walks to towns), loads of wildlife! (The dawn chorus here is incredible). The facilities and showers are amazing as well.

Brilliant spot if you want to experience wild camping but with some facilities with it. Went with a few friends and we had a great time. Picked the riverside pitch which took some endurance to get your stuff up and down in the wheelbarrows but well worth it. Couldn’t ask for a better location in our opinion…exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of hikes and walks to do around the area. One last thing….Richard was an absolute diamond of a bloke. Really helpful and just a pleasure to talk to

The location is stunning, with a wide range of Forest Pitches+ excellent amenities- the showers are especially nice.
It was delightful to see all the animals around the area and walking through the woodlands is gorgeous and secluded, our pitch felt very private.
The hosts are very friendly and gave us some excellent recommendations for walks in the area and they responded quickly to help with any queries.

Amazing campsite with plenty of amenities, gorgeous views, great location and very friendly owners. We came for an autumn break, had many lovely walks, explored the countryside and did some foraging. Nice and quiet with everything you need on site. Wonderful hosts, plenty of animals and five minutes walk away from a beautiful estuary.

Everything is perfect. The pitch that we got really big but i guess because its off peak season plus its raining all weekend. Would book this place again

This place was just want we needed. Quiet, cosy pitch, easy to get in and out of. Fire allowed (deal breaker) Definitely would recommend. Planning on returning soon as we didn’t mange to do all the things we had planned.

Not one thing!!

Loads of space in the field with beautiful views. Great for weather watching and stargazing. Showers and toilets were always clean. 5 mins walk down to the estuary then 4 miles into Dolgellau/5 to Barmouth. Cadair Idris a short drive which is a lovely varied walk up and tired the kids out! Oh and there's a cupboard to charge your phone which was very useful.

Not a dislike - just to say the woodland pitches looked lovely but would've been a bit cramped with our 6 man tent.

Another perfectly idyllic stay in the most magical woodland setting….

-Wonderfully isolated pitch among the tress, often feeling that we were the only ones there
-Good, clean facilities
-Lovely bar
-Friendly staff

And most importantly, the most wonderfully peaceful setting I have ever camped at

Nothing!

Our pitch was beautiful, the last on the walk down to the river. We were shown the facilities on arrival and shown our pitch and it was all super easy and well sign posted!
