We’d never camped hard standing before so weren’t sure if we had the right pegs . Staff went and found us pegs and gave them to us ! The shower block and toilets were spotless under floor heating. Electronic showers were awesome ! The site is regularly patrolled and as two females (mum and daughter ) we felt very safe. We had a serviced pitch and for the price the value for money was outstanding! Definitely recommend and we will definitely be back we had a lovely stay 😊

Others were less lucky in the shade, on one of the touring plots.
Showers and toilets very clean and warm with underfloor heating.No me gustó: Bin area needs to be better labelled so you can identify and separate rubbish/recycling. Pot holes to pitches were quite big!

No me gustó: Food order was poor at the on-site pub. Ordered food for outside table and went to check after an hour as they said there would be a delay, ended up being taken as a takeaway and was sat under hot lamps. I had to ask for it to be brought to table as was struggling with drinks. It was such a shame as just dried up. No apology offered just that it was ready and would have to have as a takeaway

Toilet block was clean and warmNo me gustó: The roads around the holiday park need tarmac finishing and tidied up.
Shower heads need cleaning and unblocking as was just bit more than a dribble coming out of them due to lime scale build up

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Wonderful staff and beautiful food in the restaurant. Some great views of the estuary and sea from the top end of the site and close to some great walks. Access to the sister site which is huge and has incredible facilities was a bonus.
No me gustó: Potholes. We arrived and they had just resurfaced the access road so had to pitch overnight in a different part of the park. Unfortunate and if they had advised us the day before we would have delayed by a day.
Our fully serviced pitch had a literal uphill battle draining our caravan but the other side of the field wouldn’t have had this issue. Pay per use wifi £20/week.
Many thanks for leaving us a review from your recent touring stay, its lovely to hear you enjoyed beautiful food in Castle Inn. We do so wish that the weather had been kinder for our access roads, we have experienced an unprecedented amount of heavy rainfall and as such this had made our road conditions unsafe. And we are sorry that, due to the weather changing, the surfacing of the road was at a moments notice, brought forward. Thank you for saying you will visit us again and hope it will be real soon.
