Nothing - didn't even get to experience the site

Lack of transparency around arriving outside of opening times - Pitchup states to email if you are planning on arriving late - which we did (by around an hour due to ferry delays) - and we were informed that we were not allowed in! 30mins before arrival!

fantastic site.greeted warmly when we arrived and given a choice of pitches.
The site is a mix of mobile homes and pitches that are all screened by hedges .large pitch plenty of room for trailer tent,awning and car.tap on pitch meant no lumbering water about.the toilets and showers were clean and enough that there was never a wait.As the site suggests there are plenty of apple trees-given that we were there in september,it is wise to choose the side of the pitch that does not have apples falling on your tent.great location to explore the surrounding countryside , especially by bike,the french provide cycle lanes on may of the roads in the area.local town of licque has all the shops and cafes you need.the wifi reception was also good and free.

Great location to take the time to relax and sort the dog out before the Ferry back.
Third stay here and so useful for the Ferry.

Nothing

This was our first time camping in France so we were a little worried. We didn’t need to be ! This campsite is perfect! we are a family of four ( 11 year old and 8 year old) I am very fussy about facilities but the toilets were clean and plenty of them. The showers were warm and clean. There was free wife and the pitches were well spaced out. There is a pool which was great and even though it was holiday season there was plenty of space.

What made it even better was the owner. They went out of their way to help us! On the last night we made use of the take service and had two lovely pizzas.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we visited Dunkirk, Boulogne Sur Mer and Saint Omer. We also had a boat ride down the camels in Saint Omer which was brilliant.

A great little gem of a place!

Absolutely nothing

We had a magical two weeks here, I was so impressed with how diligent the staff were, how clean it was kept. The toilets and showers were lovely. Incredible delicious food at the restaurant and lovely wine. I’m a single mum travelling on my own with my 5 year old son and the staff couldn’t do enough to help me, I had a punctured tyre one day and the man on reception gave me help and instructions on how to get to the closest garage to help fix it. The reception lady was lovely, a fountain of local knowledge and she couldn’t do enough for us. The man in the restaurant was so lovely too, as were all the staff here. They just made our stay even better, we will be back at some point I’m sure. Thank you all for a wonderful time and making my first solo parenting holiday a breeze!

Lovely site close to Calais. Great pitch sizes with all weather parking. Restaurant was lovely with a nice choice of food. Only stayed one night so didn’t get to use the pool.

Even though toilets were stocked with toilet paper (rare in France) toilet was blocked (probably due to being stocked with toilet paper) So there was a queue to use the loo which was a tad uncomfortable after a 5 hour drive.

The site and shower block were really nice.

Could extend the adult swim to open earlier.
