Location is beautiful. Pub is great- lovely food and staff really friendly.
Shower really warm and facilities are clean.

There isn't any wifi but this is a bonus. Great to not be able to be contactable for once!

Had to search for rubbish and recycling area.

Nice kind response from the site when we were stopped from arriving by extensive floods

Floods meant we couldn't arrive and it meant we had to pay anyway. Pitch up sent a link to cancel but it didn’t work

Great food, log fire. Plenty of room on the pitches. Internet in the pub.

Really lovely site beside a pub and river, everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and there was an immaculate shower and loo block (including hotel toiletries 🤩) which was not described in the description, so that was a very pleasant surprise! We would definitely stay again - lovely spot!

The only downside was the loud music coming from the pub which started at 9pm and was a bit annoying, but the noise of the rain and river drowned most of it out.

Peaceful location. Beautiful scenery and lovely dog walks accessible without driving anywhere.
Delicious food, and a great rum selection at the pub, which turned out was made by a local company just at the top of the hill! Our dog was treated like royalty and totally spoilt!! Thank you 😊
Unexpected shower block was a really bonus!
Access across the bridge was much better than previous reviews lead us to believe, delivery trucks made it to the pub without issue.

Lack of information about arrival and pitch but as we were the only ones onsite at the time it didn't matter.
Would benefit from waste and chemical toilet disposal area/drain but not the biggest issue and certainly wouldnt prevent us returning. However it would be better if the gardener didn't tell us to pour it in the river... don't worry we didn't but worry others might and this could have a devastating effect on the wildlife.

Idyllic location next to a lovely brook and to the pub. Great walking straight from the campsite. Shower facilities were clean and spacious
