The owners just let you get on with things, nice walk to the river wellies recommend.
There is road noise behind that didn’t bother us through the day and a must is ear plugs for sleeping if you want a sleep in, just like awe did.No me gustó: N/A

Easy check-in, you just pick your own pitch and away you go, which we find great and hassle free! This is our second visit & we hope to use this site again in the future.

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Great views from the site, well kept pitch and hookup included in the stay. Nice pub with a reasonable walking distance along the river. Not too far to drive to the Forest of Bowland cycling trails in the morning.
Although I didn't personally use the toilet cubicle, my husband said it was very clean and there was hand wash and water etc... he was quite pleasantly surprised. I'd read some not so good reviews about this but my husband said that he found it absolutely fine.
Note: Take a torch if you are walking back in the dark from the pub as it's a busy-ish road with no pavement and absolutely no light. We had one and we were really glad we did. Wellies or walking boots are needed to walk down the river, (Winter time) as it is extremely muddy.
No fuss campsite, nice and quiet. There is some road noise but that can't be helped. We will deffinitely stay here again.
