No me gustó: Unfortunately there was a group of 4 tents all together and they had music blaring for 8.5hours despite owners and people asking them to turn it down still they carried on. It did mean we didn’t have a peaceful stay which was a shame

No me gustó: Shower and toilet block were fairly dirty, didn’t see them get checked/cleaned once during our stay (4 days). Lack of space for children to play so they ended up playing around the pitches which caused frustration as things like kites/balls hit our car. Not much around to access without a car.
Great site with lots of facilities for people to use.

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: We enjoyed the tea rooms/restaurant and had a lovely cream tea and spent some time there in the evening. It was a large site with plenty of space. The facilities were a good standard with communal fridge, freezer and microwave. Plenty of plugs to charge devices and large washing up area. The showers and toilets were good. (Don’t forget your shower gel as the walk but up is annoying to do over and over 😂)
No me gustó: We were pitched up next to a rope swing and as a group with no children it probally wasn’t the best place for us, it was very loud late at night and early in the morning, if this would effect you I would ask to be away from it in booking notes.
We don't usually put anyone next to the rope swing if there are no children in that booking, but that day we ran out of non EHU in other areas.
We're pleased you enjoyed the other aspects of your one night stay.

The cost to have a toilet block at the top of the site is way to excessive I'm afraid..

We cannot do anything about the stones but campers can buy special pegs that cope with the situation better ( we are not the only site with stones , so not a bad investment for campers) This season was made more difficult with the drought causing the land to be dry and hard.

No me gustó: There was some dog poo in places that inconsiderate owners hadn't picked up.

I'm sorry you were not entirely satisfied with your break here. We continually strive to give campers , adults & children an enjoyable stay.
Showers & toilets are checked/ cleaned 3 times daily, I do the early bird shift 5.30 /7am every day to clean and ensure there are plenty of toilet rolls!
