Toilet/shower block very simple but showerrs are very good and warm.
Beautiful location and view, lots of space between pitches.
Use of fridge/freezer/washing machine free for use.

No me gustó: It’s a working farm( clear in the description) so if you are a light sleeper like myself be prepared for loud animal (cows) noises throughout the night!! sounds obvious but I didn’t take it in to consideration, and strangely didn’t hear anything first time!

Pitches just long grass small little number and so everytime you walked in grass feet were soaking wet no pitches as such.toilets average cob webs everywhere. Restaurant good .

Good morning, thankyou for such an interesting review. Following instructions on booking takes you to the bells.
We are a working farm ,not a park so we are all multi task. We are pleased you found the restaurant good.
.With any medical issues that require help from us it do need to be written into the special request box on your booking form. Had you requested help with anything we could certainly have arranged it.
Your nearest water tap just inside the main gate(there are 6 around the site) was a short distance away.
With a 7 metre caravan we assumed the corner pitch would suit you as its slightly larger.The grass may have appeared long but is regularly cut with Gerald spending at least 3 to 5 hours every very week cutting with the tractor and mower. But of course with a constant turn around of campers its difficult to cut all. Pitches have their numbers along the back in a central position with yellow and black marker bars on the perimeter to indicate where your neighbour begins. 25ft square (7.6 m sq) per pitch but in your case it was bigger as a corner pitch. We are very strict about positioning and space for all. You are the first to comment in 30 years that the numbers are too small but we will look at this, we do want them to be unobtrusive.
Campers should expect grass to be damp with dew, and use boots or heavy shoes, and enjoy the early morning beauty of the countryside and wildlife. So flies are around, totally out of our control. We are an organic farm and as such no sprays are used and wild life encouraged. The setting is unique which most people love and enjoy.

Working farm and they serve their own beef, steak was delicious. They were very helpful staff and our stay was lovely. Close to multiple East Devon beaches.

Good afternoon, thankyou for your very interesting review, but one to be ignored.
Check in times, opening /closing are in place for a reason as we all multi task depending on the time of day.
Sorry but we cannot open the flood gates and do checking in whilst cooking and serving lunches.
