Campsite was not busy, lovely to hear and see many different bird varieties. Visited Honiton, Farway, Branscombe, Beer, Sidmouth and Lyme Regis.Home made burgers and the Aberdeen Angus steak from the farm very tasty
Spring water from the land supplying taps. Wifi signal was excellent.
Showers and washbasins had good supply of hot water. Washing machine, fridge and freezer were very useful. Washing up liquid, toilet paper and shampoo provided.
No me gustó: Late flights to/from Exeter overflying the site.
Cleaning of toilets, sinks, fridge lacked attention to detail.
The opening of the restaurant area was somewhat hit and miss, no doubt due to being early June.
Quiet, good location. Clean facilities. Bar and cafe on site

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay.
Can I just comment on our cream tea price which we think is very fair to the customer.
£7 ( includes VAT).equates to 5.83p to cover serving per person a porcelain pot of tea,extra hot water, milk & lemon.
One large scone, selection of jams, thick clotted cream presented on vintage china.
So , as you can see service is free, cream teas are a west country tradition I will always serve but never do we make money on them, but there to enhance your stay in Devon.
Did you try the local cider and Otter beer that Devon has to offer? fantastic & refreshing.

No me gustó: Evening service in the cafe was a little disappointing - the two nights we were there they only served fish and chips despite an interesting menu.

Yes, for the first time ever we had to close the restaurant menu & make fish & chips two nights running due to many things beyond our control.
It wasn't the plan but sometimes life throws a curved ball and things change, we do aim to give 100% customer service when all things are equal.

Space for the kids to run, play football, rope swing, all in a safe environment. Didn’t use the cafe/bar but nice to know it’s there. Great place to explore local area, we spent a few days on the beach and a day in Exeter. Bit windy as it’s up ⬆️ n the hills but that’s helpful keeping the tent a bit cooler on hot days. Owners were super friendly. Would be happy to return.

Our restaurant opening times were as listed on the notice board and are the same all the year round, not so because it is now June. Friday was an exception as after breakfast service ( the day you checked out) we closed until 6pm due to attending a funeral . There was a notice to that effect which was posted on the notice board outside the restaurant about 10am.
The tea room with bar opens 8.30am closing 6pm daily ( except Tuesday when closed all day)
The restaurant opens 7pm to 10pm Thurs/Fri/Sat.
I hope this information is useful to others.
We are intrigued with the flight path information as we have been running the site for 30 years and no one has ever commented before.
