The fridge/freezers and microwave were such a welcome treat. The scenery was beautiful and the onsite cafe looked delightful. The signage made it easy to find and was just a stones throw from exeter. Clean toilets and wonderfully warm showers.

It poured with rain the entire stay however that did not deter us. The campsite had good toliet and shower facilities and the swallows rest was a great addition to the site. Food prices reasonable and Mia the cat was there to greet us! Pool table and the home made farm cider was delicious. Donkey sanctuary and sidmouth very close by. Would stay againNo me gustó: –

No me gustó: very very muddy. not there fault of course but ruined the stay a little bit and the toilets, showers etc were quite dirty, but fine for one night

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to review our farm camping site.
Yes it has been very wet with all the heavy winter rain, which the met office have kindly given yellow weather warning for. Hopefully the winter storms will come to an end soon.
The pitches are advertised as on grass so one has to expect wintertime mud.
We do our absolute best to make things easy but cannot control torrential rain..
As we are a farm there is always tractors available to give a pull off the site if required so never any need to worry about being stuck on our land.
We would love you to come again in the summer and get the full joy of the countryside.
Amazingly we have had tents on site this week.

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: We had a tentbox (tent on top of car) and were given a hard base to park on, as the ground was soft. the owners were welcoming and helpful - explained all amenities and that meals were also cooked onsite for us if wanted and produce was from on the farm or nearby which was lovely to hear. we enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast the next day and the restaurant was lovely and warm. impressed that there was a campers fridge and a freezer and washing facilities also available.

Good morning. Thank you for taking the time to review your very brief visit here.
We are sorry for the mud but when booking a farm grass pitch for a tent in the middle of a very wet winter it is out of our control.
Caravans, motor homes and camper vans can be put onto our tarmac area but not so a tent when pegs are required.
Mud also of course gets tracked in to the showers and toilets, unavoidable. Most days Jake , a member of our staff cleans all at 8.30 to 9am but sadly not until lunch time yesterday as he had to help with an emergency on the farm.
I am disappointed to see low marks for the WIFI( I don't actually remember giving you the pass word) as although we have trouble at times down here with signal the site should be excellent as we put over £2,000 worth of antenna
around the camping field.
I only met one of you, but wish I could have shown you both all the facilities and comforts we have to offer.
