Very helpful and loaned me an extension cable for electric hook up. The facilities are always immaculately clean. I had same pitch as last year which is large and relatively flat. Dog walking area at bottom of site is a plus. Lovely views of the Black Mountains. Nice walk from the site into Hay-on-Wye, which James has carefully set out on a map. Great base for the walking. Did Hay Bluff and Lord Herefords Knob, Dragons Back and scenic walk around Hay-on-Wye. The only reason I gave 4 stars is you can hear road noise at night. Bought ear plugs which helped. All in all a great, not crowded site and will visit again - see you next year James

He gave us a full tour of his facilities and site. outstanding I would highly recommend for anybody to stay here as it was a short walk to the river wye And about 15 minute walk to hay on wye Very clean and tidy can’t see enough good things about this site will definitely stay again. Thanks again for all your hospitality.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry about the small chippings but we could have provided mats.
With regard to the toilet block and showers not being cleaned during their stay we have messaged the customer directly and assured her that the toilet block was cleaned daily and checked frequently. She replied "regarding the toilet blocks, I didn't say they were dirty, I just noticed things on the floor from the day we arrived and still there on departure. Also the toilet brushes didn't look very clean. Please be assured that the positives in your site outweigh the negatives and wouldn't stop us coming back in the future". We have now replaced some of the toilet brushes and reviewed our cleaning procedure.
