Pitches not too close together.
Use of toilets and shower but they need to be cleaned.
Brewery tour available.
Close to village.No me gustó: Shower curtain too short so the water goes onto the floor leaving it quite wet.
Toilets and showers not cleaned in 3 days we were there and bins were full in toilets.
Quite noisy early morning due to brewery workers across the road from site.
If these issues were sorted would stay again.
Thankyou for choosing Batemans i apologise about it not being satisfactory i am looking into the issue with water gathering and looking at what we can do to solve this.
The showers are cleaned regulary and bins fill quite quickly i have already ordered larger bins and sanitary bins to help with this issue
when booking it does say we are a working brewery so to expect early morning starts and noise
I hope you will try us again as the issues you raised are being looked into but the noise from the brewery im afraid cannot be changed.

No me gustó: Cut grass left on field, very messy when it was raining.
Fresh water area needs cleaning up looks dirty.
Knew it was a working brewery but want expecting beer barrels to be loaded at 06.30. Site very close to the loading bay.

I have passed your concerns on and can assure you grass isnt left on the site but the paddock field is not part of the campsite and is not in in use unless we have a event and the left grass is good for your grass and stops the grass getting scorched and dying during the summer months
I will be looking into the water are see what we can do there thankyou for bringing that to my attension
i do apologise for the noise but it does state this on pitch up and our emails that early morning starts are likely as we have alot of deliveries to get done in a day.

No me gustó: Didn't get info regarding which pitch to stay on. Had to phone (no answers)and email. Had arranged to meet friends so couldn't hang about. Site not patrolled or managed. No WiFi which wouldn't bother some. We thought mistakenly that the bar would be open for food and drink.
Thankyou for choosing Batemans, We would like to take the opportunity to point out pitch up gives you your allocated pitch number on booking and you also have a welcome email sent with further information please check junk and spam for this.
Unfortunately we are a small and relatively cheap site which doesnt warrant us being able to man the site at all times but there is someone always on the mobile number provided round the site and on emails and website that is happy to assist at any time. The site is patrolled at times when staff is available to do so and checked on during shower cleaning.
Wifi is something we have been looking into and have now managed to achieve this week
I do apologise regarding the bar we are a Venue now and only open for brewery tours and events although we do have the woolpack in the village 5 minutes walks and the old chequers in croft around a 10 minute drive both do go food and serve our excellent Batemans Beer.

No me gustó: Noisy in the mornings from the brewery, although we knew this beforehand. No mops in showers so the floors filled with water.
Thankyou for your review and for staying with us at Batemans. Please note it did state we are a working brewery so cannot control noise, you booked expecting this i apologise about the mop and bucket we are looking into alternatives as things tend to wander off.

We were given another pitch even though I asked to stay on the same one.
We moved pitches and our original pitch stayed empty for the rest of our stay.
