Well priced with electric.

Disorganised and you are allocated pitch via email but no one is in correct pitch.
Not enough space between pitches so a fire hazard.

Shop not open on a Saturday

We really like the laid back atmosphere at this site.It can be a little noisy with beer barrels being moved about from 6am monday to friday but after all it is a working brewery. Showers and toilets are good. The cost per night even in high season is very reasonable.

All the pitches are grass which is not so good when raining.

Brewery Tour. Interesting & informative plus samples and free bottles of Batemans ales .
Local bus stop, excellent bus service. 2 pubs one serving food ...... delicious. What's not to like?

Needed something to dry the floor after showering.... noticed a mop & bucket just as we left the site.
Our pitch was near some water so problem with mosquitoes. Number 16
Would have been nice if the bar was open with a food offering to the public as it once did.

Everything.The toilet/ shower block was good.Pub,shop, train and bus in walking distance.

We really enjoyed our stay here and found our allocated pitch easily. We didn’t use the WiFi as couldn’t find the code but really not important to us we had enough data to use anyway.

The toilets seemed to always be left clean and tidy (as requested on signs) by the previous users and the bins were emptied although the last day we couldn’t find the mop to give a wipe down after using the shower.

The village has everything we needed a CoOp, pubs - we did use the Woolpack as it sold Batemans beers and always good to support a local brewer. We took the train to Skegness for the day and surprised that it was only just over £5 for a day return. The post office was closed for the week but everything else seemed to be open (chemist, wool shop, chippy on certain days, a church charity shop, pizza shop, pet food shop) and looked like ample walks or cycle routes.

We tried the chip shop and the portions were really generous.

The brewery tour is well worth doing and as ours was at 4.30 on a Wednesday it was a good time to try to beers at the end. All good and Trevor was an excellent guide and the other tour members were really friendly and a good time and chat.

We found overnight really really quiet and hardly a car was heard. The brewery starts but not at such an early hour to be a problem.

I left WiFi and Child friendly blank as these weren’t applicable to our stay.

Nothing to dislike. We read some of the other reviews but these didn’t echo our experience.

Nice clean facilities,location to the small town.We used the railway station to take the ten minute ride in to Skegness,but we could have equally travelled into Boston.

Nice site, toilets and showers fine, better if other users did respect them. The site is ideal for exploring the areas, and walking distance to take aways, and 2 pubs.
Site us unmanned but not an issue for us . We have been before and would go again.

This is a quiet site independent travelers so email was sufficient information for us to find and use our allocated pitch ..19. Love the view of the brewery and mill at night time walking distance local amenities.

Some traffic noise in the evening but not bad as didn’t stop us sleeping
